AP and booking multiple rooms?

So I tried to google this but through the years of different answers, was wondering. If I were to travel with some friends who are not AP and I am the only holder can I book more than 1 room on the AP discount?

Yes, you can book three rooms. We have been able to do it for our family traveling with us but staying in separate rooms. You have to call reservations to do it, though.
