AP and booking lighting lanes

If I purchase new AP, but won’t be activating them until the first day of our trip when we get there, can I still book my lighting lanes at the 7-day with die for resort guests? I chatted with a CM today who said I would be able to do this, but wanted to check.

Yes, I did this a few weeks ago. Purchased AP and linked it in MDE, booked LLs 7 days out, activated AP on our first park day. I also had a hotel stay and was only booking one day of LLs - not sure if that matters.

Yep, you can still book your Lightning Lanes at the 7-day mark if you’ve bought the AP, even if you don’t activate it until you arrive! The key is that the system recognizes your AP purchase, so you’ll be able to get those benefits right away, even before activation. The CM you talked to is spot on. Just make sure to link your AP to your Disney account ahead of time!
