Aoa checkin gift?

I know some resorts give kids a gift, sword, wand or balloon. Does Aoa give anything at checkin?

I have not stayed at AoA since 2013, but at that time there was no gift given at check in.

We've stayed at five different resorts and my kiddos have never received a gift at check in ...other than buttons

That is a pretty random thing. We've stayed at Pop a number of times and received a carnation one time and a balloon another time. We received a lei at Poly. At POFQ, the kids received "coins" for the fountain. I suggest that you not count on anything and be happily surprised if you receive anything. If you need to have something, ask for a celebration button and any resort will provide those (you can also get them at GS in the parks).

Thanks. I know when we checked into Caribbean kids received magic wands. I was just wondering whether to skip checkin completely with the magic bands. But didn't know if we would miss getting info packet.

I have never received anything unless you count a lei at the Poly. (We have stayed at All Star Music, Pop, and Poly without a kid and Contemporary, POFQ, and AoA with a kid.)

Edited to add: They did give my son doubloons for the fountain at POFQ, but that was when we were walking by it, not at check in.

We've never received a check in gift, unless staying CL.

We were just at AoA last month and there was no check in gift. There was not even a check in. There was a room ready text and I never even went to the front desk during our stay.
