AOA and wegoshop

Has anyone had trouble with using wegoshop and having it delivered to AOA? The person from wegoshop said that we have to be there in person when the groceries are delivered. He said that AOA is the only Disney resort that doesn't allow them to drop off the groceries without the customer being present. Does this sound right?

If true that's a new policy. Garden Grocer delivered an order for my Aunt and Uncle in December and they weren't there yet.

Are you purchasing anything that is age restricted like alcohol or cigarettes? Also it looks like WeGoShop has to be paid for at delivery not before like Amazon Prime Pantry or Garden Grocer so perhaps that is the issue.

We aren't purchasing anything age restricted, and I believe my husband had to provide a credit card to pay for the delivery so I don't think that is it either.
