ANZACs in November/December 2013... register here!

Forgive me - I haven't been back to post tips to the front page! But I will get there :)

We have changed airlines and will now arrive at WDW a day earlier but will use that day/night just to catch up on sleep. It's possible that the next day (the 3rd) will see us needing to change rooms at POFQ as so far, I've not been able to extend our booking (so have made a split booking) but other than that, if we're not sleeping, I think we'll be hanging around our resort and Downtown Disney.

In the meantime, I thought I would post some of my crazy ADR planning for the WDW side lol (anything I've pinked, I'm just solidifying in my mind as something I'm most committed to lol):

3 Dec: Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney dinner (most likely will cancel)
T-Rex DD dinner (phone booking by TA, plan to keep)

4 Dec: planned MK day. Play by ear

5 Dec: planned Epcot day.
Via Napoli Candlelight Processional lunch booking (Ashley Judd - possible cancel)
San Angel Inn Restaurante dinner

6 Dec: planned HS day
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano lunch - Fantasmic package
50's Prime Time Cafe dinner

7 Dec: Visit KSC day. Rental car booked.

8 Dec: probable MK day... what I keep will depend on other bookings. May not keep any.
Cinderella's Royal Table lunch (will probably cancel)
Be Our Guest Restaurant early dinner (will probably cancel)
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall dinner (will probably cancel in favour of breakfast)

9 Dec: probable Epcot day
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall breakfast
Via Napoli Candlelight Processional lunch (Sigourney Weaver, likely keep)
Tokyo Dining dinner (Big food day, can always eat entree sized :) )

10 Dec: possible AK day
? California Grill

11 Dec: likely MK day
The Crystal Palace breakfast
Be Our Guest Restaurant early dinner (I may actually cancel this too, but would be during the trip if we decide waiting for lunch is a better idea. I prefer the lunch menu tbh!)
? Wishes Dessert party

12 Dec: ? AK/HS split day?
The Crystal Palace breakfast (will cancel if 11 becomes definite MK day)

13 Dec: ?Epcot/MK??
? California Grill (Waiting for bookings to open)

14 Dec: ?Epcot/MK??
Victoria & Albert's dinner (just DH and I. Still weighing up but thinking yes, looks like a lovely experience.)
Cinderella's Royal Table dinner (very likely to cancel - kids menu does nothing for me!)
Narcoossee's (very likely to cancel)
Whichever way we go, this is a planned evening for DH and I to eat together while the kids go to a nearby kids club.

Things are coming together nicely and as soon as I have a couple more days/reservations firmed up I will be able to cancel the double ups. If there's anything I've said I'll probably cancel that anyone wants dibs on please sing out! I'm not ready to let them go but am happy to coordinate once I know what is definitely not needed.

Cool plans Franrose, and it looks as though you still have plenty of fun decisions to make between now and your trip. :)

I agree that BOGs lunch menu looks slightly better than dinner. Still it does pay to hold onto that dinner reservation until you're sure. They seem to be like gold.

Definitely WL! BOG was completely gone when I first started making ADRs, it's only through constant stalking that I have anything! :)

So I pulled out my suitcase tonight :-) I bought a new set a few months ago of World's Lightest from Costco. One large suitcase (under 2kg) and one cabin sized case (1.5kg) at such a ridiculously low price that I almost didn't buy them for fear that they weren't good quality. A thorough check prior to purchase and I'm thinking they'll be fine. The really good discovery was that another suitcase I have fits snug inside! And the two together weigh just over 6kgs, which means I can pack one inside the other on the way to Osaka, along with 13kg of clothes and stuff, and then separate them and add another 20kg of souvenirs for the flight back from Tokyo! (I'm flying Jetstar so I bought the maximum baggage allowance for the trip home :-)

3months and 1 week for me :) I'm starting to get really excited :)

Sssshhhhhhh! Don't talk about the Australian dollar. :( If we ignore it it might go back up to where it was.

Welcome :)

Are you doing eastern or western? I'm on the Western the week before you on the Fantasy.

I'm envious of your Hawaii trip on your way home. I can't wait until get to go one day :) I've got a friend who has recently moved their to live part of the year and she's considering living there permanently.

DH asked tis morning "how long to we go?" First time he has really shown any interest once booking. That's a good sign. 88 days to we fly out.

What plans do we ave? None really. I've booked lunch a American Girl for DD & I in the first week. DD is thinking on an animation class at DL on the middle Saturday (she wants to be a film maker or director when she grows up, does heaps of courses here). That would slightly move our plans around though as we were driving down to Anaheim on the Sunday and staying from then.

Thought about doing the VIP day at Universal. Depends on DDs emotions if I book it or not. It is only a 5 min drive to Universal from the rental home and the house looks over it. We might drive up to Santa Barbara one day for lunch. Just relax really that first week.

No definite plans yet for DL either. Better start thinking about it... The booking window opens in 4weeks!

PS. Excuse typos, I'm on the ipad whilst I wait for DD to finish her appt.

Hi Marlea98,

We're doing the Western Caribbean on Allure of the seas. The Hawaii stop is mostly to break up the flight home.

Looking forward to visiting all the parks, just finalising an itinerary now. These boards have so much information - will be hard to get through in the next 3 months! :)

This is a Nov/Dec check in so everyone's trips must be getting really close now!! Mine is only 8 weeks away!!! EKK So excited :cool1::banana::yay::cheer2:

Just wanted to share the excitement with you lovely people who get it :) :)

Two months three weeks ten hours for me :)

Yeah I noticed that some time ago :-) I've read the start of your ptr (and will likely steal your plan of attack hehehe) will you be updating while you're there?
