Other than Bibbity Bobbity Bootique, is there anywhere in DTD that sells something princess-y to wear for little girls? I was hoping to pick something up Friday night while I head down to Once Upon a Toy, but wondered if anyone would carry something like that. TIA princess:

They have princess dresses at the World of Disney. They're in the same room as the Boutique (it's within the WoD, not sure if you knew that). You don't have to use the Boutique to buy the princess dresses and accessories. I can't think of anywhere else at DTD that sells them, unless Once Upon A Toy does, but I've never been in there so I don't know, but probably not.

I found some pics from World of Disney from a few years ago - and OF COURSE they have the matching shoes, wands, tierras...what else??

Keep in mind - these are $80 and up dresses....

I've actually never been to DTD. :o So your post was very helpful. I went and looked up the store you mentioned and saw this listing under World of Disney store:

"The Princess Room — Celebrate Disney Princess stories from all the Disney classics in a world where you can create, try on and play dress up, surrounded by magnificent murals of Disney princesses, princes and their castles! Build your own wand and fill your own jewelry box, or purchase your own make-up kit. Be enchanted by an Audio-Animatronic® 10 year-old princess who talks and sings. "

Is this the one you are talking about? Somehow I completely overlooked this store while looking at the map. :o

You wouldn't happen to know the price range on the princess dresses, would you?

Thanks for your help! :flower3:

OMG!! My DD would FLIP!!! They're gorgeous!!!!!! Although, I think $80 is out of my price range right now. :sad2: Thank you so much for going through the effort of posting those images for me! Maybe I'll just see if I can find a casual dress that has a favorite charater of hers instead (it's partly for her CRT breakfast.)

You may still be able to afford the BBB. It's $35 and would make your DD feel like a real princess no matter what dress she has on!

BTW, I have seen cheaper dresses at Target and Wal*Mart. I usually get mine from The Disney Store Online, but you don't have enough time :(.

Hi there! Well, last weekend I actually saw princesses dresses at Target. They were too big for her on top, though, and I thought for the price ($20), it seemed like a poor value and truthfully it wasn't what I was looking for (no offense!) It was more or less like a play dress up thing as opposed to costume quality or dress quality. I paid $30-$35 for her Tinkerbell costume for Halloween and that was *much* better quality (fit perfectly, too) than the ones at Target, even though the price wasn't too different. I have not seen the ones at Wal-Mart yet. Maybe we'll take a look at WoD and see if they happen to have something more within reach.

I really appreciate everyone's help so far. :flower3: She'll be celebrating her birthday while we are there so any bit of special touches I can find for her while we are there is great. She'd probably enjoy just getting to look at this store much less getting to pick an item out. ;)

You're welcome. We found a higher dollar dress (for DD 2 1/2) at our local disney store - we actually bought it the year before for Halloween. My DH said that he would buy it, but I had to agree to allow her to play dress up in it. It was hard, because I knew she would trash it. We bought 3 sizes too big --- she is now 5 and she can STILL fit into it!!

Then a year later, we went to WDW and went to CRT. I'm also posting my DD's CRT pics. I'm SO glad i went through the hassle of lugging the dress to the parks - changing at the restaurant. I will always treasure these pics!!!! Get the dress! You won't regret it! The next time we go, DD will be 10 and she will be too old to want to wear a dress to WDW.

Maybe she can go as Tinkerbelle, then. Yes, the Target dresses are not as nice as the Disney Store dresses. And the Disney Store dresses do not hold a candle to the dresses available at Walt Disney World. I know that when my DD was 5 she couldn't care less about how well made a dress was. I think that they all look nice in pictures and then they go into the "dress-up" pile. We didn't bring a dress on this last trip ... I think our days of fancy dresses at WDW are over until my DD can eat at Victoria and Alberts.

Try Disneyshopping . com - they have some really nice looking costumes on sale.

You could bring a reasonably priced costume with you and add the basic BBB package for less than one dress at World of Disney.

I just noticed you don't have time - try Target or Wallmart or if you find one at Disney.com maybe you can have it shipped to the resort? That would be a fun surprise for your DD?

Good luck and don't worry CRT will be wonderful!

If you are headed to the CRT breakfast, you will probably want her in full princess garb of some sort. Look at Target, they usually have cheap disney dresses by the disney and barbie stuff. You can usually get them under $20.00. After Halloween is also a great time. I bought DD5 a Cinderella dress from the Disney Store for $15.00 including crown wand and Shoes! She will wear it to the BBB in a month!

I have used this site for dresses and you can get them in the size your child needs rather then what target or walmart has... they are a much better quality and very cute.

I purchased a dress at WDW for $95 and it was gorgeous.... She used it for our vaca and then for halloween one year and I had it drycleaned and vacumn packed for her to save for her daughter or a granddaughter that I may have someday.... Like another poster said.... I got awesome pics that I wouldnt trade for nothing because they grow up so fast and soon thats all embarrassing to them to even consider.
