First of all, is there any way to see the Santa at MK withOUT going to MVMCP?

And is there anything that makes him unique? like does he wear mouse ears or something? LOL

I've never seen him wear anything but his regular Santa Hat. He is just your regular old Santa.

Last year we saw Santa there during regular park hours. There is also a Santa at DTD.

We found the best Santa ever at Epcot in the WC. He was near the American show and he had mrs Clause with him. He looked exactly like you expect santa to look and was great with the kids. This was the last photo i ever got with DS and Santa. He was 5th grade and would have never sat on his lap at home but at WDW it is so different.

Santa is scheduled at DTD pretty much everyday from Thanksgiving through Christmas. We did see him at MVMCP last time we were there and it was great. The kids kept says how lucky we were that Santa happened to be a Disney when we were. It was precious. Also, I didn't have to fight the Mall crowds when we got back home. One of the other things we really liked last time was in Epcot. Almost all of the pavillions had versions of their own Santas or Santa-like characters who would talk to the children and tell stories. It was very fun and interesting!

The Santa we saw at Disney was a regular Santa but he was very good. His costume and demeanor was much better than the Santas you see in malls. We got a great picture of our daughter with him last year.

Oh I am looking forward to this! We normally go the week before Thanksgiving and Epcot doesn't have their Santa's yet. Sounds really neat! How do you explain all the different Santa's to the little ones thougH???

We have always told the children that Santa is so busy during the holidays that he has many, many helpers and that's why you never know when the real Santa might be the one you're talking to. As for the Santas in Epcot, we told them that children in different parts of the world see Santa in different ways than we do and that seemed like a perfectly good explanation to them, so we went with it. My oldest daughter has told me that kids at school have told her that Santa is not real. I told her that it's a pity that they don't believe anymore. Santa is a feeling in your heart - he represents the magic and giving of Christmas. If you believe it's real, then it is. If you don't, it's not. Remember, Santa is more than just a fat, jolly guy in a red suit! Now you're making me wish we were going for the Christmas holidays again. I need to keep my mind on my Free Dining/MNSSHP trip! lol

Is Mickey ever around in a Santa outfit for pictures? Not at the Christmas Party?

I have heard that you can find some characters dressed in X-mas attire at AK. And at the MVMCP, but not at Mk normally. But I am new to the x-mas thing, so can't be 100% sure myself.:)

Here are some Christmas pictures of the different Santas at EPCOT and one of Goofy during the parade at MGM from last December.

Normally, Mickey and Minnie are at AK in their winter sweaters while Goofy is dressed up as Santa. Unfortunately, last time we went, someone got something on the Santa costume and Goofy had to leave and come back in a reindeer sweater or something like that.

DTD always has a Santa for pictures. We've never gone to see him, so I don't know if there's anything special about him.
