Anything Special for Easter at WDW?

I know that there are special decorations and programs at Halloween and Christmas....we are planning to go the following Sunday after Easter Sunday and am wondering if there is anything like that for Easter and, if so, how long they keep it around after Easter Sunday. Thank you!

There is nothing special at the parks for Easter. Some of the resorts will have an Easter egg hunt and a few other activities. Also, some of the restaurants will have a special dinner going all day on Easter Sunday. There are no special parades, etc.

We did get to pose with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at MK. We saw them on Easter and a few days after...I'm not sure how long they make appearances after Easter though.

We were there at Easter - and in Epcot, they had a woman who decorated Easter eggs, who was amazing. They also had a 6 foot tall chocolate decorated Easter egg right outside the garden grill. You could smell it the minute you walked in the building!! Other than that, I don't recall anything else. On Easter sunday they had an egg hunt at our hotel (we were at Portofino Bay that day).

The Dolphin had an easter egg hunt but you had to have the special buffet which was on the expensive side for us. I really didn't think it was worth paying the price in exchange for the hunt. You could also have the Easter Bunny hand deliver baskets to your room for something like $50.00 . They have premade baskets all over the world for about $35.00-$50.00 but I opted for a basket made by myself with stuff I brought and I included Disney Dollars. We actually saw the bunny in the lobby which was exciting for my son.

There is very little done for Easter. I know that some of the resorts have Easter egg hunts, but that's about it. As a tip, most people go to the Magic Kingdom on Easter, so the place is packed. Visit one of the other parks instead.
