Anything new on the mummy's soft and real opening dates?

The latest I heard is a real opening date of 5/16, so I would assume that would include at least a couple weeks of soft opening time before that-has anyone else got any new info?(seems kinda quiet lately on the subject around here )

Did you get that 5/16 date from a reliable source? That date would be great with me, since we will be there the first week in June. If it's not open by then, we are going to delay our trip until it is open - but I am SO ready for vacation, that I really don't want to do that. I'm sure that they're doing their best to get it opened at least by Memorial Day.

How do the soft openings work anyway? We'll be in the parks on 5/14 & 5/15. If they are indeed doing soft openings how would we be able to take advantage of that?

Soft opening could be anywhere from mid March to April.

How that works is simple: the attraction may or may not be operating. If it is operating, it may only be open for a few hours and could close down at any time, for whatever reason, and may or may not return to operation for the rest of the day.

Not yet, but there will be one. I'm not sure how they will manage it, as there are some 250,000 APHs. Maybe it will be a reservation system like Shrek. Who knows...

I get out May 14th!! Haha!! It's great to be a senior!! I'll have 10 days of Universal Fun then it's graduation then ALL SUMMER LONG AT UNIVERSAL!! WHOOP WHOOP!!

I hope they do the same thing like they did with Shrek. It was fun and kewl. Met some very interesting people

I don't have any inside scoop on the 5/16 date other than seeing it thrown around alot on another IOA site. I was planning a trip from 5-12 to 5-16, so this date doesn't exactly work for me either!

Hi .. I'll be attending the launch for the Mummy attraction.

I can assure you it'll be a BIG event !

It'll be my 3 rd launch at Universal, and let me tell you, they do it better that ANYONE !
