We currently have AAA rate room booked at Disney's Coronado Springs for August. (our dates don't fit with Disney's 3/4 deal) After some research, I discovered the the Super Saver Deal available at Royal Pacific. Considering it is not that much more money for us to stay at RPH, we are going give it a shot. Is there anything that I need to know before I book?

I understand that its a pretty broad question, I just want to make sure that I'm not missing something.

Just that when you stay on-site and have FOTL you will never want to stay offsite again and you will hate the next time you are standing in a regular line lol. Whatever questions you have just ask away! We are here to help! Take a look at the trip report boards too if you haven't!

Nothing else to know other than you will have a great time!

What is the super saver deal? I am planning on booking one night, Nov 1st. We are FL residents and I am trying to get a good rate. I see good rates now through June (from $139) and wondering if I should wait for FL resident rates later on. Trying to minimize costs on the US/Disney end of the trip so we can swing a cruise

As long as you book through Loews you can change your rate when it lowers with no penalty, all you have to do is call. I probably checked mine once a week and managed to get it from $259 all the way down to $126 in an 8 month span...just remember
1. Book directly through Loews
2. Check often!

Well – we took the plunge & booked!!!

The Super Saver is the discount that they offer based on the number of nights that you stay. The longer that you stay, the better the discount – for example we are staying 7 nights at Royal Pacific in august so our rate is 1066.59 w/ tax. We had AAA room only reservations at Coronado Springs for 938.77 w/ tax. So for a little more we decided to upgrade to RPR and enjoy all the perks of staying on-cite at universal!

This probably doesn’t help much w/ your plans – but I’m sure some of these Universal Experts can help out with some ideas!

Thanks Donald! We've never done Universal before but I got one of those free tickets from the superbowl giveaway so we are going to give it a try! We're only planning on staying there one day though to keep costs somewhat low
