Anything happening?

I know this question has been asked many times and many ways about when is the best time to go to Disney. I have read a couple of places that the week immediately following Thanksgiving is a good time to go. My question-Is there usually anything big happening that week? Cheerleaders, festivals, anything?

We were there for part of that week last Thanksgiving and it was really wonderful. I think the PopWarner kids come down a week or so later, but that could have changed. As far as I know, there aren't any out of the usual big things going on that week. Just the regular Christmas stuff. It's a great time of year to visit.

December 4-10 is the week Pop Warner ball teams will be there.

Dec 2nd - 4th will be the filming of the Christmas parade that will air on ABC Christmas morning. Unless the change past history of filming the 1st weekend in December.
