Anything good at Backlot express?

Trying to find a good CS at DHS (I know..there isn't one), but I gotta find something. So what's good here, and what should I avoid?

Pretty much your standard CS fare. We either go with the chicken nuggets or the double cheeseburger, both of which are identical to those found elsewhere in the parks.

They do have a Southwest Salad that looks intriguing but I've never given it a whirl.

It's our go-to for CS at DHS. Never really been disappointed by it but its not exactly somethign that will wow you either.

I've always like the veggie sandwich from there. It's pretty decent.

This place was alright, pretty standard straightforward fast food. ( A heck of a lot better than the ABC commissary ). We prefer to go near TTT and RRC, there are two CS side-by-side. Appeals to the varied tastes of our group ( I forget their names, but they're side-by-side and right between TTT and RRC )

I've eaten at the CS places near TOT/RRC. I also don't remember the names but the food was OK enough. They are outside with quite a number of picnic tables.

I had the Southwest Salad (I'm not really a salad person) and enjoyed it . My husband and daughter had different items - I don't remember which and neither complained (or raved).

They have the best french fries, hot & fresh !!!

Also, the BEST turkey sandwich, here is how it is described on AllEars site---

Grilled Turkey & Cheese - with arugula and red peppers served with French fries or carrot sticks $8.69

It is served on a whole grain & wheat bread that is awesome & the red peppers are grilled & melted into the arugula cheese (tastes like mozzarella cheese). I absolutely LOVE this sandwich !!!!!!!

I agree on the grilled veggie sandwich; it comes with a small, nice bean salad. It's a nice change of pace from other CS meals.

The Very BEST DHS CS (IMHO)...

Is Sunset Market...which is an outdoor area near ToT and RnR....that has several CS options to choose from...

It's not as well known probably because #1 it is outdoors...and #2 it consists of Many CS's that are listed separately...

Including:
Toluca Legs Turkey Co: Smoked Turkey, Hot Dogs, Salads
Catalina Eddies: Pizza's, Caesar Salads, Deli Sandwiches*
Rosies All American Cafe: Chicken Nuggets, Burgers, Veggie Burgers
Fairfax Fries: Fries


* Catalina Eddies Deli Sandwich is what I get... and VERY DELICIOUS!

I researched CS options very very carefully for our last visit because DH & I wanted GOOD FOOD....DS (somewhat picky), DD1 (VERY PICKY) and DD2 (Vegetarian that year)....

Is BackLot express one of those cs places that has fixins for the burgers like grilled onions/tomatoes/mushrooms or just ketchup/mustard?
