Anything going on 10/2 at HS?

I can't believe I can't get an ADR at Sci-Fi on Fri 10/2 I mean we love it, but ALL the guide books really trash the place, so do many on these msg boards ...it's not even a day Fantasmic is being shown...so why is it booked solid? I've been trying for 3 days. Any ideas???

Do you mean Friday or Thursday? 10/1 is a Thursday. 10/2 is a friday. EmH is the night before so usually it isn't too bad in the park then but I just think people are going nuts on free dining. Seems like everyone there at that time will be dining free. I have one for dinner at Sci Fi 9/30 and I got it right when my 90+10 opened. Remember people are going to keep cancelling/ changing their adrs. Plus I think a lot of people may pull out at 45 days if the economy stays like this. Just keep trying on line everytime you get a free moment between now and then and I am sure you will get something.

Oops, you're right. I mean Friday 10/2...the NON-Fantasmic day! I hope you're right. I keep checking periodically throughout the day for that wistful cancellation....

Today was the 90 day mark but I've been able to book since Monday on the 90+10day staying at Disney perk. Still no luck this morning. I just can't believe I got my tough ressies: CPal, ChefM but am finding nothing available for lunch at Sci Fi on 10/2. It's just strange....so, I wait...

Please keep trying throughout the day on Sci-Fi. I will tell you from my experience that they seem to put blocks of times every now and then for Sci-Fi. I had gotten all reservations i wanted but some times werent the greatest so i kept what i got and figured i would tweek as i go along. Well booked by phone over a month ago and when online ressies came out 2 weeks ago i noticed one morning that Sci-Fi all of a sudden had some new blocks of times for two consecutive days the week we were staying (every time i checked online they were totally booked - and i check many many times per day online) I found an excellent dinner time and booked it. I was curious to see how fast they come & go and by the end of the day most availability was gone. I went back online the next week to check again (i like to play around alot to see what happens and whats available) and sure enough after a week of no availability, there were some more blocks of times & days available. I am going end of August. You have plenty of time until October and i bet if you are persistent with going on the computer alot you will be able to snag a reservation for yourself. I have had the best luck going online early morning before 6:00 a.m.
