Just curious...

We're heading down on Sunday. Don't care too much if it rains, etc. I just want to be able to get there. A rainy day in Disney is better then a sunny day at home. :worship:

Have a wonderful vacation. It sounds like the predicted path is Northeast away from the United States. Here is pixie dust that it goes as predicted and your vacation is hurricane free! :wizard:

Shouldn't be a problem unless you're traveling by way of Bermuda. (Of course, those things have been known to change course.)

The forecast has really changed since yesterday, so that tells me that it really needs watching. As for now, all is well for us.

I don't want to speak to soon, but it looks like we may have dodged a bullet. Feeling pretty fortunate right now as we leave Monday morning.

Have a great vacation! Bertha is not going to get within 1,000 miles of the US.

Its closest point to the US will be on Friday and Saturday, when it will be near longitude 60W. (For comparison, Miami is 80W.) It will then turn NE and go well East of Bermuda, and nowhere near the US.

JimMIA.... agreed! everything I am reading says don't worry. However, you never can trust these buggers!

Not worried at all, but then our trip isn't for 24 more days.:thumbsup2

Now, as long as that next one doesn't come off the coast of Africa for another 4 weeks.......:rolleyes1
