Anyone with points help!

I need 57 points for April 18, 19 and the 20th. I prefer the BCV, but I have been told that they are sold out for DVC. At this point I just would like to know what is available.
Has anyone had any experience with a resort being sold out, and then opening up due to a cancellation. I just want to know what my expectations should be.
Another helpful member suggested that I can book with whatever is available,and then be put on a wait list/cancellation list?

Hi!

I was put on a wait list two months ago for Beach Club or Boardwalk. About three weeks ago I got a call and said my wait list came through for Dec 18-24 for either resort. I was very excited because I did not think it would come through due to Christmas break. Good luck! If you need any more help pm me if you want me to check availability. I do have extra points for Beach Club.
