Anyone with DLR 4th of July horror stories?

(They're leaving tomorrow, so we're trying to figure out if they should even try to see the fireworks!)

I don't know, but I DID just read that the show on 7/5 is NOT the same show they're showing on 7/4, but rather just a way to use left-over fireworks. Knowing that, I'm not sure I'd go too far out of my way to see it.

I do know that you can see fireworks from the esplanade between the two parks, and SOMETIMES they have music. Don't know how the crowds will be in that area, though.

I've heard of people watching from the top of the parking garage, but I haven't tried it.

You can watch:
- from the Esplanade.
- from the top of Mickey and Friends.
- from various places on Harbor Blvd.
- from various places at the hotels.

Last night, the fireworks show was 9 minutes long.

Thank you! I'll make sure they have the info before they fly out there. The Esplanade sounds like it might be the best place (unless it's really crowded), otherwise probably at the Mickey & Friends parking structure.

Hi Guys!!!

Thanks for all the input on the 4th! We went to the park and went on a bunch of stuff. I think so far the only rides we have not been on is Indie, Splash, Space, and Nemo. We've been on pretty much everything else (at both parks too). The longest we had to wait was for Soarin' and that was 40 minutes. It was fantastic. We sat to the left of the hub about 2 hours prior to the fireworks. They were amazing!! It did take us about 30 minutes to get out of the park after ward, but I was kind of expecting that. It was a great experience, but I don't think that we'll be here for the holiday again. Its a little to hectic!
