Our tree is about 95% Disney. We finally had to stop buying new ornaments because our tree is FULL. We also setup the monorail and all of the accessories around the living room at Christmas.
Plastic (resin). Here is a pic we took of them for insurance purposes. We'll have to do this again this year since we added some more to the collection recently.
We went to our local Home Depot today and they have a new pink Princess Christmas Tree for $20.00 there!!! It's maybe 2 feet tall but it might have to find it's way into our DD3's room before Christmas!!! Cinderella on top and some decorated balls.
cardaway, I had not thought about taking a picture for insurance purposes. We have pictures of the tree and other decorations, but I don't think that would show all the ornaments. We will have to do that this year. Good advice!

Count those up and multiply by $20 each. Yeah, would like to get something for them if something bad was to happen.
People should do the same with any kind of special collection. I've read bad things about not having enough proof when it comes down to having to replace them or get anywhere near the value back.
I've done the same for my 4000+ plus title DVD/CD collection. If people have large numbers of those they should think taking good pictures of those as well.
