Anyone watching GH?

Did Zander call that girl Gia? I didn't know the original Gia was leaving. I'm not crazy about this new one at all.

Yep, that is the new Gia. I'm not real fond of her myself either. And I can see why "the modeling thing is over", she is definitely not "supermodel" gorgeous the way the other Gia was.

I was going to post the same thing. I happened to catch the part yesterday when the "voice" said ..."the part of Gia Campbell is now being played by..." I cant believe they have this one replacing the old one. She looks nothing like her! At least when they replaced Carly the 2 really resembled each other.

CamColt, that is exactly what I was thinking. I don't like Carly but I think they did a good job picking her to replace the old one. It doesn't seem like they tried to have any similarities at all with Gia.

And, is it my imagination, or does she look significantly OLDER than Nicolas? I'm not saying that an older woman/younger man is a bad thing, but definitely not what this couple is about.

I'd think they'd pick someone a tad more glam for Nick.

I was shocked when I saw that yesterday too. Today when she was talking with Zander the conversation was sooo fake. I think that the new Gia is a pretty bad actor and looks nothing like the other one. The hair and face is not even close. I hate when they change characters. I loved when they showed an older Lucas, cause that he looked just like the other one.

Whoa! I was just thinking the same thing.. new Gia looks WAY older than our Nick... but I will give her a try.

I was just thinking yesterday.. that I have FINALLY begun to like the NEW Carlie... I still miss Sara Brown.. but the new girl has grown on me..I think she does well with Maurice-Sonny too.

But still my favorite NEW day player on GH is Courtney! The actress is beautiful, strong and well suited for the character.

It will definitely take some getting used to! However, I have to admit that this Gia "looks" more the part to be going to law school. In fact, my first thought was that they either chose her because of the direction the story line was going, or the wrote the story line to suit the "new" Gia. She certainly wouldn't be believable as a supermodel.

I will give the new Gia a chance but I loved the old one so much that it will be hard. When she walked into the hospital room to see Nik, I just kept waiting for him to say something about her hair. While I realize that recast won't always look like the original cast member (I am surprised they were able to do it with Carly) I still think the long braids to the short hair could have been explained.

They don't show them that often. The actor who plays Reginald is a successful writer/producer so he isn't available for a lot of scenes, but occassionally mention is made of the relationship.

To Foster and Annabelle- the dogs??

I think they eloped together...seriously, they never mention the dogs nor the puppy they had that belonged to Emily.


To Stefan Cassadine??

Stefan went to live in Italy to find that 10 year old who wrote the diary that Chloe read. He did it to honor Chloe.

Does Mac know Anna is alive and well in Pine Valley??

Yes, Mac knows that Anna is alive and in PV. They had a crossover where he went to see her.

Has Frisco fallen off the face of the earth.. the girls never even get a card from him anymore??

Frisco fell of the earth long ago. It has always been explained away that his work with the WSB keeps him undercover and thus not able to communicate with his family.

Dr. Tony Jones.. MIA.. but maybe he will show up at Christmas...

Tony is very rarely on since the actor is only on recurring status. Occassionally he is shown in the hospital when someone is brought in for an emergency. And yes, he will probably play Santa at Christmas.

Mention has been made of Emily...like when she broke up with Zander for a new boyfriend. Occassionally Monica and Alan mention she is doing better, but until they decide to recast the character they probably will only make very occassional mention of her.

To Sara Webber..Elizabeth's sister??

She left town after her tryst with Lucky since it hurt her sister so much and since Lucky wasn't being a jerk. Given the bad blood between the two sisters, I am not surprised she isn't mentioned.

Why doesn't Scottie ever see Serena, hec he hardly even mentions her..

Seeing Serena is very rarely mentioned on GH, but PC mentions that Serena is staying with Scott all the time. Can't help but wonder where that girls gone off too since neither parent seems to remember that she is there.

The ? about Reggie and Leticia.. wow I did not know that he was a writer /producer.. good for him. I adore his character and wish he was on more often.
