I've been reading along with you guys but since y'all have voiced everything I've been thinking, I haven't chimed in yet. But I gotta say, this guy is seriously creepy! I'm not even sure I'm going to be able to make it through this season. I walk away from every episode feeling like I need a scalding hot shower.

Yes, I always feel like I need a shower, too, to get the ick off.

I see people were talking about the Andrew Firestone season as being a good one - is there a way to see that one now? It's not on itunes and I don't think it's on netflix either.

Try at ABC.com. They have episodes of The Bachelor there. They might have old ones.

I knew Ben had anger issues in Ashley's season. If you remember, he was seething mad at Ryan almost from the start. While Ryan was a little annoying with always being peppy, I thought it odd that this other man took such an attitude with him. I am not surprised he is like he is on this season.

And whoever said he has cold hard eyes is so right. Those eyes are steely. He's creepy beyond belief.

Was that him that had been doing all the complaining? I know he got mad at Ashley after she let him propose. But, we all thought she was an idiot to let him do that. But, not it seems, no, he can get angry in an instant.

I remember him saying for her not to act like they are still friends. That when things end, it's because they end BADLY.

Also, he told Kacie B when she asked him why his old relationships ended, he said he loved them deeply but that they didn't love him after all. Well, yeah, when he can turn off his emotions just like that, when he gets angry or doesn't get his way, I can see how someone would stop loving him, once she figured him out.

He kept telling Ashley that he had always been emotionally closed off and couldn't love before. Sorry! He STILL is!

Ok, I have never watched The Bachelor, ever. I got a kick out of reading the last couple of pages of this thread.

Barbara Walters talked about the show this morning and peaked my interest, but not in a good way

I cringe watching these attractive women act so stupid around this guy. They should have no problem getting a date and they are embarrassing themselves over this loser?

I think part of it is the whole celebrity thing. Someone else picked him, (and the other bachelors,) and told the public THESE guys are a great catch and young, gulible girls don't question it.

It's kind of like, after the prince kisses Snow White, she's not supposed to question him on who he is. "You're the one who kissed me & took me out of comatose obscurity??? You're really not so great. You keep treating me like I should still be asleep and not want for anything."

Hello ladies! I am going to go out on a limb here and make a little prediction. I think this is how it is all going to go.

Ben will choose Courtney. At the final rose ceremony, he will get down on one knee and propose. The conversation will go as follows:

Ben: "Courtney, will you marry me??"

Courtney: "I won! I won! Where's my prize?"

Ben: "I am the prize! You've won my heart!"

Courtney: "Your HEART? What the hell am I going to do with THAT?!!"

Ben: "You mean you're not in love with me?? You don't love my hair and everything else about me?"

Courtney: "Hell no!"

At this point Courtney will walk away from the edge of whatever cliff they set up for the final rose ceremony. She will then go home and pout with that oddly shaped mouth of hers. But this isn't the last we see of Courtney. Within minutes of her arriving home the phone rings and it's a producer from the Bachelor.

Producer: "Courtney, we love you! You make classic train-wreck TV. We want you to be the star of Bachelor Pad 3"

Of course Courtney jumps at the chance to be able to shake her ****s on national TV again. But who else will get the elusive phone call about Bachelor Pad 3???

Why it's Wes and Bentley!! They too will show up and will fight to the death over our little Courtney. But wait--who should be waiting in the wings but GIA! What will our heroes do now?? Stay tuned...

Yup, she's all about winning. Benny boy won't matter two cents to her once this trainwreck is over. Though honestly, he's really a pig anyway, have you all heard about the "films" he made? I can only hope his mama hasn't seen them. Pig isn't even strong enough of a word I think.

That's not entirely true, Courtney WAS wearing a head dress.

And Blakely is a VIP waitress. Can't imagine why anyone would confuse that with being a stripper...

hmmmm, about the only one's I remember are Vienna, Jake and Tenley...but not sure how many magazines they de-face, errr, graced. The blonde, deer in the headlights Marcia Brady..the one who rode in on a horse, is she still there? She is the Tenley this season.
