Anyone watched fireworks from Tomorrowland Bridge? Main Street Rail?

Love and used the maps on my trip last week. :thumbsup2

Quieter time on 1/26 - got to Casey's at 7:30 and sat on the curb. Main Street didn't start really filling up until 7:50 when we walked to the center of Main Street. Perfect spot for our first night at WDW. :lovestruc

Call me crazy, but I like that area too. So much quieter for the kids. Plus, we show up to watch two minutes before they start.

we watched from the tea cups one night and it was really cool cause it was like being in the middle of the fire works

Below is a rough estimate of the Fireworks viewing spots
based on other posters' info on the boards and personal experience.

robo's maps always help me so much. i think robo is THA MAN!!!!!:goodvibes

Without Robo's maps, my first trip to Disney World may well have been a disaster!

We've watched Wishes from a couple of different places now. The hub end of the Tomorrowland bridge isn't bad, the view of Tink is fantastic, the view of the fireworks is good.

From in front of Dumbo, I felt that we really missed a lot. Not only can you not see the effects of the castle, a good bit of the show is actually taking place BEHIND you from that location, so you have to keep turning back and forth to see it all, and the show just isn't meant to be viewed that way.

Our favorite spot so far has been in the hub, towards the front of the orange area in Robo's map. We've been able to work our way in there perhaps 20 - 30 minutes before the show, and sit down for a fine view.

On the day that we are at MK, Specro is at 7, wishes at 8. Is it possible to sit in the same spot for both (preferably the Tomorrowland bridge, since dinner most likely will be Cosmic Ray's)? Or will be have to move from our parade spot to see wishes. I don't know if the Tomorrowland bridge is near the parade route. But I love the maps-gives a great perpective!

I have watched from the 2nd floor of the train station. Last trip we had dinner at Narcoossee's and finished early so we decided to watch from inside the MK instead of at the GF. We got there about 5 minutes before SpectroMagic ended so when the train station emptied out, we went up there. And the way the benches were arranged, I got a prime spot on the floor behind a column but with enough space between me and the bench to see the fireworks. It was awesome.

It was spectacular and it's one of the few things my DH insists we have to do again, but you'll have to take my word for it because the batteries on my camera died. (Grr... I had told DH they wouldn't last through two full days and we needed to recharge every night, but did he listen?)

The music didn't sound very close, so it may not be up on the train station itself, but it was definitely playing on Main Street and we could hear it.
