They visited a hotel which I have also. Really beautiful old place that gives me the creeps in Arkansas. Looks like they got an actual image on video. Anyone see this? What do you think?

YES!! My DH always watch TAPS and we both thought last nights episode was by far the best - they saved the best for the season finale.

What Jason and Grant caught on the FLIR was Amazing! Gave me goose bumps, we are both still trying to figure out why the "2" showed up the way it did.

I saw it. The civil war looking aparition right? I thought it was very spooky-if it was real. I never know what to make of stuff on tv. That is a good show though.

Last night was a good show. When Jason was getting that reading and the camera showed the colors that was pretty cool too.

I think it's either a legit apparition OR some sort of very rare natural.

I only say this because Jason & Grant have been doing this stuff for a lot longer than TAPS has been a tv show and because they are among the most highly respected investigators in the country. Had it been any other group, I'd swear they staged it. It can be staged. Not easily, but it can be. They wouldn't stage something.

I thought it was amazing. First TAPS I've watched, and I did so because my mom and I visited that hotel last Christmas and thought something felt "off".

I believe it. :)

I believe it too for the very things Essie said. They are well respected and try to DISPROVE things before they say they are real.

You could actually see the apparition look down and then look up again right at Jason and Grant. The 2 was wicked as well. Very very weird.

I love this show and would love to visit this hotel. Its only a few hours away as is The Myrtles but my DH is the biggest chicken in the world and no one else will go with me either.

If it weren't so far from me, I'd go with you Beth. :)

(It's a good day's drive or more from me)

It is a few hours from me, but I have never stayed there. It is beautiful, and on Sundays they have a wonderful champagne brunch. It's really a neat place to visit, but I just don't think I'd want to stay there. There is one room where "Michael", a stone mason who fell to his death during the construction of the hotel, is known to visit. I can't remember the room number, but the front desk staff told me that there is a two year waiting list of folks who want to stay in that room. Not me!!! I went upstairs and asked a housekeeper if I could see in one of the rooms she was cleaning, and she allowed me in. It appeared very old, kind of musty smelling, not somewhere I'd want to stay. But the lobby and grounds are beautiful. It was once a "hospital" where a "doctor", who was not a doctor at all claimed to cure cancer with the mineral spring waters there. Many died and the basement was a morgue. I think that's where they spotted the "spirit" last night. Also, an apparition of a nurse pushing a medicine cart has been spotted at times on one of the floors. I thought last night's episode was very exciting, and I think the TAPS staff did also!

I would go with you guys, too! We'd probably get as far as the hall and run screaming like the sissies we are. (okay, at least I would  )

Love TAPS. Please tell me that wasn't a season finale though :confused3

The best line of the night was when Jason says straight up, 'I think we caught an apparition on film." He would never say something like that unless he truly believed it. :scared1:

It was the season finale, but there is a Halloween special on Monday! :)

What time and how many episodes? Oh and will they show the repeats ever?? I missed a few.

OOOO what time Monday! I would soooo go anywhere haunted! I would get scared but I would love to go!

I would try really hard , REALLY HARD not to run...LOL!

I was watching the marathon all day yesterday so I got to see a lot of the shows I missed due to work. Of course dd calls me to come pick her up at 2 minutes to 9...I almost screamed! Then when I get there she has 2 friends with her, so I took them home too, what was I gonna do have them walk?

So I missed the first 15-20 minutes, but came in just in time to see the "figure" let me tell you that gave me the willies! I would have been running from that room as fast as my legs could take me.

I also think because they kept trying to recreate it, (they really do try to debunk a lot of the stuff that happens,) that this was a legit sighting, which gives me more of the willies thinking about it.

I also thought the colors around Jason and the guy he was talking with was way cool...how garnt could sit there and look so calm while seeing that was amazing.

Whoops. Let me edit that HALLOWEEN Monday I believe. Not this one. Sorry about that. With my luck, I won't have the electricity to watch it anyway if it was this one.

The episode was great! I wish that they would spend more than 1 night in the places, I think (by no means do I know ANYTHING about the paranormal) that they would 'catch' alot more, I mean ghosts need a night off too, right? :teeth:

And that image by the locker, that just completely gave me chills too. It was amazing,

One questions for those that might know. I've noticed a lot of times the guys say they need to investigate furthur. Do they sometimes leave equipment there and then come back after a week or so to look at it? If not how and when do they investigate furthur and if they go back why don't we see more of that?

Often they'll make plans to revisit the site at some time in the future. Or them may plan to simply go back over the tapes and get a lot of feedback from members and associates. Some groups will check the hotel's history to see if others have seen or photographed similar things.

I also trust the TAPS people. There's slews of paranormal research groups all over the country and there's only a few that I trust (one in Oklahoma and one in Texas). That's not to say that others aren't honest but it's hard to know that ahead of time.

We try to spend every Thanksgiving in Eureka Springs and we've spent a lot of time at the Crescent. We've also spent the night at the hotel and through talking to people and the overall aura of the place, I'm convinced that the place is "strange". There's so much more to the history of the place that they didn't even touch on.

what made no sense (or complete sense) is the '2' on the locker was glowing in the reds, pretty warm, while the 'apparition' was a complete neutral in the green. it freaked me to the bone.
