I started it about 20 minutes late and fell asleep before the end.

But what I saw gave me some royally messed up dreams last night!

And DH didn't help by waking me up when he came to bed. Scared the daylights out of me!

So - um...how did this end? Last thing I remember seeing was those people 'moving into' the house to prepare for the exhorcism.

And - I'm assuming this was "real"...does anyone know what town in CT it was in?

Thanks!

I forgot it was on, so I recorded it at midnight. I'll let you know when I watch it!

Is that about the funeral home? If so, I have the book its called "In A Dark Place" and the funeral home is located in Southington, CT.

yes - it was about the funeral home.

thanks! now i need to Tivo this for when it's on next...or read the book, that might be less scary for me. hehehe

The book is really really creepy . . .I think it'll put more visions in your head than watching the movie. ::yes::

Spoilers:

I watched it a couple weeks ago on Halloween weekend. Once they took the oldest boy away, the evil went for the mother. It also went after the one researcher when he was dumb enough to go off by himself.

Eventually, they did get the church to authorize the exorcism, the family moved, and they released the oldest boy from his lockdown ward.

I also watched "A Haunting in Georgia" that same day, and I think that one freaked me out more than the Connecticut one.

Me too! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I didn't watch it this weekend, but I saw it sometime last year. I don't think they were able to close the portal the spirits were passing through, did they? They just had to move, right?

I didnt see it last night but I have seen it before. Very creepy. I thought the Connecticut was creepier than the Georgia one. I guess because in Conn it was the house and in Georgia it was the girl that was the medium.

Yeah, the house is still there (at least it was at the end of the movie). They closed the portal, but they were afraid somehow it would reopen, so they moved.

Interesting thing is, I don't think they ever addressed the owners of the house (the family was just renting it). Would be interesting to hear the owner's take on it.

I could only watch half of it, way too scary for me!:scared1:

My husband and DD (13yo) watched it, I fell asleep watching other TV in bed. When I woke up in the night daugher was asleep on the floor besides the bed, I asked DH why and he said the show spooked her. He later calls me at work between PT and work and said how he got spooked, a mug on the mug tree in kitchen fell off and broke and no one was home and cats were on the bed sleeping - lol!
