anyone watch 7th Heaven?

I tried to tape 7th Heaven while I was out tonight but I think one of my kids messed with it and it didn't tape. Can anyone tell me what happened? I saw on the teaser last night that Kevin proposed to Lucy but then there was another girl? Anyone know? Thanks!

Well, Kevin & the 'other girl' addressed each other using the same last name. My guess is, a cousin or something.

Rabbi Glass was hospitalized (after spying with Eric on the 'new' Pastor which they both think replaced Them!) with an anxiety attack/heart attack. Not sure yet.

Ruthie was caught 'dressing up' and dancing with her boyfriend when she should have been watching Simon & David.


Simon went on the ride-along with Kevin & Roxanne, hence the info to Lucy about the 'other girl'.

If Kevin proposed, I missed it myself. I was switching back and forth the last 1/2 hour to catch the Wiggles on 'Yes Dear'.

And, I do know that the episode was written by Barry Watson (Matt), who will not appear at all this season. He's not doing too good IRL.

Lucy's boyfriend's mystery girl was someone he was MARRIED to for six months right out of high school. They were doing the right thing because she was pregnant, but then lost the baby. They've divorced. Guess that answers Lucy's question as to whether Kevin had ever "done it" before. The show ended before Lucy really responded.

Thanks! I missed the very end because my mom called right before it was over, and I missed Kevin's explanation of who the girl was.

I have been thinking that it was rotten for him to not tell Lucy if he had ever "been with" another woman before. You shouldn't have to tell just anybody that kind of information, but if you're considering marriage, she has the right to know.

I read last week that Barry Watson has completed his treatment, and is doing very well. He's tired, but recovering. Apparently things are looking pretty good for him long-term.

Lucy's reaction to the news that he was married before was typical for her. She wanted to know if she was pretty, Kevin said he didn't know, so she stormed into the house to find out from Simon. She is so immature and insecure. She definately is not ready to get married. I don't think Kevin proposed to her.

Lucy used to be the strong, rational sister but they have really made her character pathetic over the last couple of seasons. I used to watch 7th Heaven all of the time, but I just can't take how unrealistic it has become.

I agree!!!! We're also watching the early season reruns on ABCFamily and the episode last night was when she was trying to help a friend...she was so sensible ....and now she's become a twit!

I agree!!! Lucy's character is completly off the wall. I can't believe they are writing her like this.
If Mary or Lucy had been caught in the living room dancing with a boy and alone in the house it would have been a MAJOR deal. Ruthie didn't even get a "serious" talking to and she is PROUD of herself. That girl has never been disciplined like the other children. It drives me nuts.
