anyone want to help me find a value with free dining?

i have dates checking in the 13 September at the earliest and checking out on the 22nd at the latest. I only just found out i have these dates free and its either value with free dining plan or off site. iv been looking at various lengths during this period and can't find any offers. Can anyone give me a hand?

Well, no go here either every way I try - even though there ARE some value resorts available for those dates if you don't want free dining, the minute you do go to the free dining it bumps the value resorts up to CSR (moderate) So aggravating!

I looked at Travelocity and Expedia too, just in case. Expedia is offering the free dining package and has values available BUT you have to get air and a premium ticket with PH to get it with them, so you probably don't want to go there

I'm not having any luck right now either even when I moved the dates out further. If you can book for more days than you want you can call later and drop the extra nights from your reservation; lots of people did this last year when booking free dining. You might want to try again tomorrow AM, people were saying that cancelled rooms were being added back in to the system at night and were available early in the day.

Have you actually called WDW reservations? I always have the best luck with calling them directly. Just my experience. It might help if you can change your dates a little too. Last year we actually booked on the last day and did get a Value for the last date of the frist day of stay which was Sept 22, 2007. I also would keep calling, some may cancel or more rooms may just become available. Good Luck

As of today free dining is 97% booked up and whats left is mostly deluxe resorts and old key west/saratoga springs. Good luck!

First of all, the suggestion to call is a good one as I've been told there is different inventory over the phone vs. online. Second, there have been recent openings for value resorts with FD that I noticed just a few days ago, For instance, the timeframe of Aug 31-Sept 14 is available with FD at both ASMusic and Sports. I'd definitely book *something* before June 22 when the offer ends. This way you can modify your dates if someone else cancels and if not, you can get a refund 45 days prior. Modifying dates after June 22nd will need the help of a supervisor but plenty of people have done it in the past. Good luck!---Kathy

I just noticed the OP location is "England", so calling is probably pretty expensive $$$. OP - Since I live in FL if you need me to call for you and just see what they say re availability @ values for your dates - let me know!

Just as an FYI and I'm sure there are others, but I'll be cancelling a short FD stay from Aug 27-31 that we have linked with another ressie Aug 31-Sept 14 at Pop Century. We decided not to add the extra days which were booked to accommodate one family member who has now decided to change plans. I was really surprised to find availability yesterday online for the values in early Sept. esp. over Labor day weekend!---Kathy

I just posted on the main board that this has to be one of the WORST booking sites on the interent.

CALL. (or do Like I did, decide that if they are that incompetent you will just stay offsite LOL!)
If OP is in England, try a TA (plus I think Disney has a phone number there!)

Hooray! Let us know what you got! To anyone else who can't get their preferred resort and still want to go...book something, anything! Cancellations won't come in for awhile but if you wait past June 22nd you won't be able to book FD or try and switch resorts. I'm so glad the OP was able to get in!---Kathy
