Anyone waiting for AP rates after 8/8?

GEE! I hope the Value rate is lower than that! When we went in February of this year, during 'value' season, the rate for a Value was $49! That's what we're hoping for....if its the predicted $64, that's too much for us and we won't be able to go! I do realize that's only $15 more a night, but when your scraping at the bottom of the barrel to even go, that's $15 more a night (plus exchange rate!) too much!

BTW, does anyone know if they give AP rates for camping? That'll be our next and last hope if the Value's are too much. :sad2:

I double checked and the 64$ is what we payed per night last August 5th through the 16th.(I wish I had better news for you)
The value resorts are the least greatest value for getting an AP rate at. It comes to about 20% a night discount. The mods and deluxes have a much better % off discounts with an AP.

I will check on the AP website to see if the campgrounds have an AP discount.

They have AP rooms open at the campsite for the last round of AP summer discount which end August 8th. This is the prices that are listed and I'm sure the prices will be lower for value season that starts the 9th.

Thanks for all that info M2DD's. Glad to hear the campsites are applicable.

I was just thinking about the rates last February. It was $49 for standard rooms and $64 for preferred. Did you get a 'preferred' room last August? That could be the difference then.

UGH! Its the 19th already! When are they going to post the fall discounts????

No it was for a standard room. We were at the all star sports in the football section. Let me see what other info I can find. I got all the time in the world while waiting for them to release the next round of AP discounts:surfweb:

I never thought to check posts from last years conversation regarding discounts for that time of year. :headache: Thanks again for all your help. :flower3:

Last year they were out around the 18th. This is driving me nuts!

Me too! I called Friday to change my September Free Dining to room only and the CM said the AP rates should be out soon. She didn't give more detail than "soon", but I'm really hoping we'll hear something this coming week.

I look right here on the Dis boards. Normally there are people checking with CRO each morning, and the news gets posted here immediately it seems.

Another one here waiting... i already have a 40% off pin in the works right now... but wondering if the AP code will be close to that, and if i can get on at POP, right now i'm stuck at All Star Sports... not that its a bad thing... just POP is my home base.

OK ... At this point Disney has released oodles of pin codes for fall, and now there is a new a 35% discount for Disney Rewards Visa holders. How about throwing a bone to us loyal AP holders who have been waiting so patiently (or not :rolleyes1) for so long? :confused3

Oh please, pleeeease let tomorrow be the day! *crosses fingers, crosses toes, rubs rabbit's foot, does the hokey pokey ...*

I know!! It's sure making me rethink the whole AP thing for next year! Between codes, free dining, and Visa rewards, for everyone I'm not sure it's even worth it anymore...
:sad2:

This is the first I have heard of this. Where can I find info on it?

If you go to the Disney Visa website under news and offers, it's listed there.

It says $96 moderate standard room stay from 8/22 to 10/3. Book by 8/8 using your disney visa credit card. And it has Old Key West studio at $169 with this offer. Call Disney and use code EQT and use your disney visa card.
