I would love to visit every Disney theme park. Anyone do this yet? Did you do anything else while on vacation in another place?

Just Disneyland Paris since that isn't that far away from us.
And we combine it with Paris itself, that's about 45 minutes by train. I find that the WDW park is bigger, even the walkways are wider plus the food is better in Florida. We went to Paris park in december and spend mornings at the aprk, went to Paris had lunch there, walk around for the afternoon and then have dinner there as well. The food in the aprk is neither good nor reasonably priced, it's ridiculously expensive!

I went to Paris once. It was pertty neat, but not the same vibe as WDW.

I enjoyed seeing different versions of the rides, and seeing some things in French. Then of course there's all the rest of Paris to see.

There was nearly so many folks wearing Disney gear. I actually got a great deal on some shirts.

If you do go to Paris, know that you can take the Paris Metro to get there. I so wish WDW had a similar Metro to take you from MCO to WDW. It drops you off just outside the gate.

Truly, Disney was almost an afterthought though. There's SO much to see in Paris! It's an amazing city! The Louvre is a museum to end all museums. It's HUGE! You more or less have to spread it out over several days, because it's overwhelming. Also, it's free on some days. You save quite a bit goiing on one of the free days.

Do get a good guide to Paris if you decide to go. It will tell you all the ins and outs.

I don't have much interest in Eurodisney, but someday we WILL get to Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland. That place looks incredible.

If you scroll down the list of forums here, there's Global Neighbours, with subheadings of two Paris forums and two Tokyo sections as well.

Went to Paris back in 2006, and we loved it!
It's not the same as WDW, of course! But it was different. Some attractions are very different.

I'd love to go to Tokyo, I have a friend there and the pics she is showing us is awesome.

I agree that Disneyland Paris does not have the same vibe. It was fun to see and I'm glad we went while we were over there, but it wasn't the same as going to WDW at all. We stayed a couple nights on site and took the metro into Paris to sightsee which was convenient.

We've been to Tokyo DisneySea which was really amazing! It was the most expensive theme park in the world to build, and well worth the money. Their afternoon water parade and night fireworks show are completely over the top. We were spending 6 days in Japan, in a suburb outside Tokyo not close to Disney but the train connections were fairly easy.

Have you looked at the boards for Disney Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo? Some fun info and trip reports if you want to dream:

I know I've seen threads about visiting all the Disney parks in the past. Here's one about a 4 parks around the world trip:

As an American living fairly close to the geographic center of the continent, it takes quite a bit of time and money (especially for a family of five) to get to a Disney resort in any other country. We spent a month in Europe last year and (of course) didn't even scratch the surface of what there is to see and do- while it was certainly possible for us to see Disneyland Paris, in the end we just decided there were too many other things to experience.

I'd have to travel considerably more than I do to want to spend any time at a Disney resort in another country.

I was on vacation in Paris and my family decided to take one day and go see Disneyland Paris. I really liked it. We focused on the rides that were very different from the ones in WDW/DLR. Our favorite was Phantom Manor, which is kind of like the Haunted Mansion, but much darker. We watched a few of the shows (some were in French, some were in English). DLP's castle is really pretty and I loved the dragon in the dungeon. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at DLR and are hoping to go back someday.

I'd love to see the other Disney parks. Maybe someday...

We've been to DLP. Twice. Both visits were add ons to stays in and around Paris, which was our primary interest. Our first trip was in summer, and we went on a day trip to DLP as a way to escape the intense summer heat in the city. The next time we spent 2 nights in early Dec. at one of the DLP resorts at the end of our week in Paris. As a PP mentioned, the park is very easy to reach by train since the park has it's own station. It is absolutely nothing like WDW. More along the lines of Disneyland. And at the same time different from both. If you just go to experience it without trying to compare it to its American counterparts, I think you will have a most enjoyable time.

We were lucky enough to spend 3 days at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea in October. This was added onto the end of our 2 week tour of Japan where we visited several different areas and cities. And let me just say this about that- it totally blew us away!! There just aren't enough superlatives in the English language to describe tha jaw-dropping awsomeness of TDS! We stayed at the Sheraton, which is one of the partner hotels there. The official Disney resorts are REALLY expensive. Given the expense of a Japanese trip, it was probably a once in a lifetime visit for us, but I would go back in a heartbeat. But if you consider going, check the projected crowd levels very, very carefully. A crowded day at TDL makes Christmas day at MK look like a breeze.

DH and I went to the grand opening of Disneyland in Hong Kong in Sept. 2005. DD was about 3 and we actually were brave enough to take her:). We had a blast and although our Chinese wasn't perfect, some Cast Members spoke a bit of English to help us. It was truly an experience and I hope to go back someday! :thumbsup2 :)

My DW & I visited Hong Kong Disney in April 2011 & loved it

Looking forward to our trip to the world in December this year.. Happy days. :)

Been to DLP, but only for a day and didn't feel like it was nearly long enough. I have been to both HK and Toyko for work and neither time did I make it to an additional park. I'm not making that mistake on my next trip.

I've been to Paris twice.
The first time, I was only three so I don't really remember much of it.
I don't like it as much as WDW (or DL). It's a great park and I LOVE Space Mountain there, but I'm SO used to WDW that all the subtle differences at DLP made it feel just a little off.

Like when you have a dream where everything's the same but a tiny bit different and it just doesn't feel right? That.

I mean as a park it's great, and the fact that they get so many English visitors there and that so many people in Europe speak english means that most of the CMs do which makes it 10x easier.

We have been to DLP three or four times. I really do like it there, especially as the Disneyland Park is so pretty, the Hollywood Studio's less so.

We are planning to go to Tokyo in May of next year. Do DLT and DLS and a Bullet Train Ride to Koyoto.

I really can't wait for that one.

Cheers Larry.

We've been to Disney Paris and have a trip planned for HK in February. Both are just one day trips, most of the time is sightseeing elsewhere.

Spent three days at Tokyo Disney--Fabulous! The unique Disney Sea is gorgeous. Stayed at the MiraCosta which is the most beautiful Disney hotel ever. The service was wonderful and all the CMs were delighted to help a western family. Hearing the Country Bears sing in Japanese was worthe the trip!
