Hi, we will be celebrating my son's 5th b-day in May and was wondering if anyone has used the fun card. I've seen something about where you can't use it but was wondering if anyone has good tips on WHERE to use it. THANKS!! :cool1:

When you collect the card the cast member will give you a leaflet that lists all the locations that you can and cant use it. I went to DTD and spent every last cent on mine!!!

Also if you are entitled to any discount such as you have a AP - you can still get your discount on the item you want and use the fun card.

I am sure you wont have to go to far to spend it!

I know you can't use the Birthday Fun card at restraunt. Do you think you could use it at a Spa? I made a reservation at the Boardwalk Inn.

Seems like you can only use it in Disney owned shops, hopefully it will be easy to use! Thanks!

I have signed my son up, too, for our upcoming trip. Does anyone know where do you pick up the Fun Card? Is it at one of the parks, or can you get it at the hotel?

Thanks!

As far as I have heard you go to the will call window at the park and get it there.

You can ONLY redeem the free on your birthday options at the WILL CALL window at any of the four theme parks with (and only with) proof of birthday (state issued ID, drivers license, passport, or birth certificate).

You have a year to spend that gift card so no worries if you can't seem to find ways of spending all $65 (for ages 3-9) or $75 (ages 10+) in one day.

Thank you so much! That's all I needed to know - we'll be ready and my son is so excited to have that much money to spend at WDW - already has ideas of what to buy.:woohoo:

Just a friendly reminder: Bring proof of your birthday! If you don't they won't let you have the card, no matter what. This happened to me when i went a few days ago. As long as you have proof you are good to go :thumbsup2

Where is the WILL CALL window at the parks? My DD will be celebrating her 12th birthday while we are at disney and is going to be able to get one of these. :dance3: She was so happy when I told her about it.

If my birthday is the last day of my trip, can i only get it on that day or can i get it sooner?

What works for a certified copy of a birth certificate? Just a notorized copy??
