Anyone use Vartec for phone service?

This is for my home phone...not cell phone. I use Verizon at the moment and have no problems with them. I just got a call from someone from Vartec with a deal that sounds pretty good. $29.95 a month for unlimited local calls, 200 minutes of long distance, caller ID, call waiting, call waiting ID, auto call return and auto busy redial. This is not much more than what I am paying now I think. But I don't know how much this would be after fees and taxes. I read in the fine print that they are not included in that price.

Has anyone had any experience with them?
