anyone use Trend laundry soap?

I saw this today and picked it up. It was a 4 lb box that does 50 loads of laundry at least and was only $3.00. Is this an item that is too good to be true? I figure if I don't like it I am only out a small amount of money. what do i have to lose right? so if you have used it, how do you rate it? poll coming

Haven't used that, but have to say, I found Sun Burst Free @ Big Lots for $2.70, and it is great. I can't believe the price, especially since it is also completely plant based and biodegradable-- a huge in my book.

I remember using trend and lilac when I was in college.
awful, awful, stuff

Now I stick with Tide, Cheer and Downy.

Never used Trend or Sunburst. But I wish I could find a detergent that cleaned as well as Tide. I hate paying the money for Tide, but I really think tis worth it. We used ALL for a couple of months cuz it is about 1/2 the price of TIde, and it didn't clean our clothes as good at Tide.

I used to like Arm & Hammer alot.

That is until I started making my own laundry detergent. I made my first batch a few weeks ago and for 2 GALLONS of liquid (well, gel really) detergent it cost me less than $1.
