Anyone Use the Give the Gift of magic Bands yet?

Has anyone used these on a trip yet? I was wondering if they light up different than standard bands. We got the starwars ones when we went last and they had special sounds and lights would be nice if these did something like that also.

No mention of special effects yet. Ethan (who runs the site) seems pretty good at keeping up with the special effects.
