I am thinking about ordering scentsy, does anyone use it? What scents are similar to Disney hotels scents?:wizard:

I use it and love it! I too am a consultant! If you are looking to order I currently have a mystery hostess party going on my website where you can earn free and 1/2 products just from ordering if you become the hostess of the online only party. If you would like more details let me know and I can PM you the info!

I love Scentsy. I have warmers in every room of my house. I have tons of scents. It's hard to not go crazy buying more scents. They scent the house very well. All of my friends, my mom, aunts, cousins, grandma all use it as well. No complaints from anyone. My mom loves the fact that they have different designs and scents for all seasons of the year and for different occasions. She's always updating her stock of everything. I would as well if my husband would let me. lol

Some people love it and there are some good scents, but be careful if you have anyone with allergies that lives in your house or that comes over regularly. The scents are strong and they can wreak havoc on people with allergies. That stuff really affects me. I get completely stuffed up within 2 minutes of being in a room with it, or anywhere near it. We had a co-worker several offices over that sold it and insisted on using it in her office and it stunk up the whole floor and made 3 of us sick. Not fun getting congested every day within an hour of coming to work. People would tell her it was really strong, and she didn't tone it down. Luckily, she was nice enough that when someone got brave enough to tell her that it was actually making people with allergies sick that she voluntarily quit using it at work. Now if you want to get rid of someone you don't like with allergies or shorten their visit, you can really put it to good use! If I walk into a house that has scentsy going, I can't stay long! ;)

I like them in smaller rooms. In the main art of my house where is open, I can barely smell it.

:thumbsup2 have it in my kitchen...

i bought those stuffed animals for 2 kids and those are sooo cute....

I can't wait I really want one. How many does a person need? I was thinking a full size and a few plug ins??? How long does the blocks last? Do you use the same scent in all of them? THanks!

The smaller bars have a burn time of up to 90 hours for the entire bar depending on how many sections you use at a time. I usually use one section for my plug ins and two for my mid sized warmer. I myself have a smaller house (1200 sq. ft) and use on mid size warmer in my living room, a mid sized in both kids rooms, and a plug in both my room and the bath room. I like to melt a different scent in each, but that is really up to each person. My favorite for my room is satin sheets! Very fresh and almost romantic smelling.
If you are planning on buying several companion packs that save you money and offer warmers of various sizes as well as plug ins and bars.

Do you have a consultant currently or are you buying from a party? If you would like a link to my consultant page or have any questions about Scentsy and Scentsy products feel free to let me know!
Enjoy!

Question for anyone that is a consultant I have a friend that is a consultant and I saw it's $99 to join. What exactly do you get or does it come with for that amount of money.

I generally just use one cube at a time. I use a variety of warmers in different rooms. I use the plug ins in the bathrooms and mid or full size in the other rooms. One cube really lasts a long time. Some of the stronger scents will last a bit longer.

You get everything you need to start. A warmer, a bar, a buddy and scent pack, testers, frag. foam, scent circle, room spray, catalogs, order forms, invitations.

Love my Scentsy! I have lots of large and plug ins. I have an inside dog and I am so scared of having a "dog" smell in the house.
I leave mine on all day long, (which was a big adjustment for me....I am one of those unplug everything that is not being used-type people) I change them every Saturday. Sometimes every room gets the same scent, sometimes every room gets a different scent.

my kids have large warmers and scenty buddies in their rooms, and they love them.

I am not a scentsy consultant, but considered it. I think you only have to place an order every three months to stay active...and then you get commission off of your sales. But I already sale Thirty One and Blessing Unlimited, so I didn't want to give myself too many headaches at tax time, lol

Actually in order to stay active you must make at least a $150 in sells during each quarter.

It's alright, but I'm just as happy with the Glade products. I also thought that all of the warmers looked somewhat cheap and tacky. JMO of course!

I'm a big fan of scentsy but it could be because I am a consultant :thumbsup2

They are much safer than candles (no flames, no soot) and I love being able to change out the scents when ever I want

I ordered my first warmer and a few scents a couple of months ago. So far, I really like them! I'm thinking about ordering another warmer or two and some more scents soon. I don't personally know any consultant. I just found someone's info on a sticker on their car and looked on their website.

My SIL is a huge fan - (and not a consultant) she has parties, and gets lots of those things- she's always giving me stuff - and her house has a few pots warming... she gave mom a small one (they have a small cottage - so the kitchenette, living room is really small) and I'm always un plugging it - I hate that smell when I'm cooking dinner - I want to smell the food!! ( even garlic :rotfl2: )

I thought it was similar to other products too...

I love my Scentsy! I have 2, and they are great. My mother in law sends me new scent bars all the time (she is always hosting parties and sends them along to me) I will say, that I have occasionally bought the wax "melts" from AC Moore, if I don't have a smell I like. I like the cinnamon, apple, etc smells the best. As another poster said, I too have bumped into it and spilled wax everywhere, more than once actually! And it can be a pain to clean up, but other than that love it! :goodvibes
