I just came on here to see what everyone is redeeming for. I just reached enough points for a $5 GC, but can't decide whether I want to redeem or continue saving for a higher amount....
I did that too. I decided to go with Starbucks $5 now since I'm going on vacation and am not sure I'll be doing much checking in during that time. I also didn't see a $10 SB gift card and the places that do have both $5 and $10 gcs don't give you a break for waiting for the next level (12,500 pts for $5 and 25,000 for $10) so there was no advantage to waiting and saving more points like there is with Recept Hog, unless there's something I'm missing.I just came on here to see what everyone is redeeming for. I will probably do Target until we leave for WDW in November. We usually shop at Target for our snacks and water.
Another question. I have won a few entries into various sweepstakes. has anyone won from their prize box entries only?
That's my philosophy just cashed out for a gift card this morning!I'm at about 8200 points right now, but plan to cash out for a $5 Target gc as soon as I have enough points. You never know when these points programs will go belly up, or the number of points needed to redeem will increase, so if there's no incentive to save up for higher value rewards I figure its better to cash out asap.

Hey, I just updated my weather Chanel app and it now has the MPoint icon on it. However I originally started with a vacation countdown app. My question is that my vacation countdown app and mplace have the same amount of points. The weather channel app has different points. Has anyone had more than one app with this program?
Same here. I started with Weather Channel and then downloaded mPlaces through that. Check that you are using the same log in (e-mail or Facebook) for all the apps. You might have ended up with two different accounts by accident.I have Weather Channel and mPlaces and my points are the same for both. I started on Weather Channel before downloading mPlaces
Sigh. This app is really easy but it is KILLING my data.

How often do your check-ins reset? I notice there's a Subway near me at work that I can get 50 points and I checked in an hour ago and just went back and looked and I can check in again.
Every hour. But you only get 25/day. I cringe when I accidentally click a 10 pointer.
I reached 25000 on Sunday, cashed out Monday for a $10 target GC (going towards a Disney one) and I am up to 4000 already. I haven checked in anywhere yet. I am waiting for a lull in the rain to run to the grocery store and do "the route."
I am so sorry we are on a grandfather plan from AT&T but I understand on the flip side my kids are eating up our data with their "free" iPhones!!!Sigh. This app is really easy but it is KILLING my data.
I live in a metropolitan area that has plenty of business. I am a SAHM so my kids have regular activities that I need to drive too. I past the same business and check in the same place. So I check in while running my normal errands. I just happen to live in an area that have plenty shopping stripsDo you guys actually drive to business areas for the sole purpose of checking in? I feel like that is burning more in gas/time than it's worth. If I am near a business I will check in as much as I can, or pull into a lot and hit a bunch of stores. But to make a special trip out is not something I want to do. Consequently, I rarely make my daily limit on check ins.
Differing opinions?
