I was able to book a 7 night stay at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for my upcoming May vacation for a terrific price on eBay, but I actually need an 8th night and I'm kicking around the idea of using Hotel Tonight's app. I have never used Priceline's name your own price option which sound like it is the only comparable price-wise option. It will just be me, no kids to worry about, I'll have a car and I'll be in the parks most of that time so I would love to hear reviews, opinions, etc. I just really don't want to end up in a dumpy/scary hotel, but I would enjoy saving as much money as possible. I'm also considering just booking Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista since it is only $59/night but I am curious if I can do better for the same money. Thanks!

I've used it a bunch. The hotels are all nice, ranging from mid-level "boutique" type hotels to higher-end convention hotels. I've never seen anything low-end like Clarion, Days Inn, Motel 6, etc.

Just bear in mind that you cannot book anything through the app until noon local time on the day you will be staying the night. So you won't know where you'll be staying that night until midday. That said, I've never been disappointed with the selections they've offered.

I used it on Dec 22nd got the comfort suites next to old town. For being a first time user they gave me a 25 dollar credit so I ended up paying 40 for the night. I took the cheapest hotel they offered, they had higher end places available as well.

Thank you both for your input. I really appreciate it! :goodvibes

Im probably going to try it this wednesday. Depending on how long I have to work, Im planning on leaving this wed for a long weekend at disney. Have room booked thurs-mon. But if I head down wed will need a room that night. I will post back if it works out better than lmt or hotels.com

hi, when i look at the app, it's never really teh price posted. it's usually, at the end of the sale, another ten to fifteen dollars.

So, ? not so sure the rates are good there. Still checking.

I was charged the rate plus taxes, same as any other site. I did make sure the hotel I chose did not have any resort or parking fees

Guess it's the resort fees. I keep clicking on hotels that are actually $10 plus more than ad.
