We used Budget for our cruise in 2004 and are planning to use them again in March. We joined the Fast Break Club this time because we love how National Emerald Club works. So what's the deal with Budget's Fast Break? Do we save any time by using it? Can we just go to the garage and get our vehicle or do we have to stand in line at MCO?

We use FastBreak all the time. You go straight to the parking garage at MCO and go to the booth. Your keys will be waiting for you. Unfortunately there is no FastBreak at the Cape Canaveral location so you do have to wait in line sometimes.

I used it in May & would definitley recommend it. You can go straight over to the garage & get your rental, no waiting in the line!!! Not offered at PC, where the line can take awhile since they only have about 2 people handling the rentals.

Using it saves you a ton of time. There is a special line, usually has 0 people in it when the regular line is hours long.

Definately get the fastbreak card, it is free, so why not use it.

I just signed up for this, too. Last October, I waited in line for 50 minutes at MCO! :scared1: We stayed at the Hyatt. DW & DS went swimming and were back to the room before I got the car parked upstairs.

Can't wait to use Fastbreak. :thumbsup2

OK - I'm a bit confused. Do you stand in a FastBreak line at the Budget counter in MCO or do you go to the garage and get your keys from the person in a booth? It seems people have had two different experiences - or maybe I'm just slow today!:cool1:

There is a separate line in the garage. You go straight to the garage using Fastbreak.

Hey travel buddy!

Maybe I can help after making matters worse earlier. Emerald Club (at least at West Palm Beach) you get on the bus and they drop you off at your car. No booth/desk or anything. Budget you still have to goto a counter to get your keys and car. Make sense? At MCO it is different since they are in the garage. With Emerald Club last time I was at MCO I stopped at the booth and they brought my car to me.
