It seems like we were just talking about if it was going to happen at all, and then... should you cancel, should you get ADR's, should you switch dates, what ADR's should you change, where to get the rental car from, is this a good rate, Can you get a better rate, what about park tickets, oh wait, should you cancel the trip again, should you switch resorts, why doesn't the Poly offer a better deal....
You know, the usual stuff we gab about.

Your forecast looks pretty good. If the humidity is low, you should be ok. It hasn't gotten humid yet at all here in NC, so maybe it hasn't started in FL yet either.

Am I packing yet??? Now what kind of question is that? Of course I am packing!!!! About 90% done!

Yeah, I'll take temps in the mid 80's! Sounds perfect. After last August I don't think the humidity in Apr/May is going to bother us a bit!

I knew this would happen with all the uncertainty!! I knew that if it did actually happen it was going to be a last minute thing and things were going to happen fast!

And this week is going to be busy with a couple of meetings, a dr appt, and working a few days. And then I work the last 3 days leading up to vacation.

Has anyone heard anything about Test Track today???

I just went to the WDW website and they finally have something listed about it, but doesn't make a whole lot of sense.....



"Test Track Closed For Refurbishment [Friday, June 01 - Tuesday, July 31]
Test Track Closed For Refurbishment [Saturday, September 01 - Sunday, September 30]"






And someone on the BC thread is reporting that the pool & slide repairs are "officially" done and opened!! I sure hope that is right. They weren't supposed to be done until the end of the week or so....

Wooo Hooo! Your trip is so close! As far as the word on theTest Track refurb, I am a member of the Disney Moms Group on Facebook and one of the travel agents posted this confirmed list:

That's weird about the TT posting??? I just read somewhere over the weekend that it was already closed. It said it closed on April 12th or something like that. I'll have to go back and see if I can find that website I was on. Hopefully it was wrong. That's the problem with info on the web... you don't know what is up to date or reliable.

That is awesome about SAB though! I am VERY happy for you on that. It would be such a let down to stay there and have that fantastic pool be closed.

I'm not sure what's going on??? I've heard from SEVERAL reliable sources that it's DEFINITELY closing today and that it was even mentioned in the cast member schedules that there was nobody posted to be working it except for information staff outside to let people know what was going on but when i pulled up my wait time app today ... IT"S OPEN!!!!! So I'm totally stumped - unless it closes some time today?? I keep checking and there is always a line up for test track as a matter of fact the last time i checked it said it was 60 minutes long. It does say Big Thunder is closed though so I don't have a CLUE what is going on now.

It's VERY STRANGE!!!

I know. I thought it was back to normal yesterday, but now all the smileys are out of order.

I don't understand why there is so much confusion/miscommunication about the Test Track thing. It's almost like WDW is trying to hide the fact that it is closing or something.

Oh wow that is interesting......There surely couldn't be a wait time if it wasn't open!!! I don't know what to think. Maybe when they said it was closing today they meant at the end of today. IDK. And why does the WDW site say it is going to be closed in June, July, and September???

A little behind here since the DIS has been acting up so much lately... but wanted to let you know that SAB is open TODAY! (Called & confirmed with a CM at BC) And I switched our reservation back!

We'll be there in 3 days!!

Not sure what the status is of the noodle family, but if they are still missing, we offered to stop & pick some up on our way there.

Test Track Closed For Refurbishment [Monday, April 16 - Sunday, September 30]






I knew it was coming, I was just holding out hope that maybe they would have some sense and close after BTMRR opened back up. I know they are at 2 different parks, but it's still 2 very major attractions.

I'm still not sure why WDW waited until this afternoon to post it on their website. What about all the people out there who aren't like us and only use the WDW site for their info and they went not knowing a thing about it?




PS -- I really haven't been sitting around stalking the WDW site all day. I've been cleaning all the windows in the house. All day. Just keep checking the internet in between rooms.

I like to come home to a clean house after vacation!!

Don't worry -- the FL rain doesn't usually last too long!! Most times there is rain several days in the forecast for our trip and we rarely see any of it (except for our August trip!)!!

Thanks! We went last September/Early October and the forecast showed rain...rain...and rain....and then it changed to SUN...SUN...SUN! It rained on our last full day and then it rained during our departure day..which was ok (It made it MUCH easier to leave!)

Well, aren't you being smart and Martha Stewartish! I HATE cleaning windows and to clean them right before going to Disney... Never in a million years would that happen! Can't I pay you to come clean mine? You'll be flying right over my house in two weeks.

I hate that about TT. I was hoping that you might squeeze by and make it in time. You'll still have a wonderful trip though. Too bad it wasn't Mission Space though.
