Anyone up for a boycott on Halloween candy?

It is the beginning of a new month and the No Candy Challenge and I am IN!! It is definitely tempting having all of these goodies here (we have waaaaaaaaay too much candy) but I diverted my craving with a nice cold Diet Coke. Yum!

I admit, I had to restart

that mini-Almond Joy was calling my name too loudly!

I can easily see how an Almond Joy could make you bend! Atleast you got some nuts with it! That's goooood protein!

I've done GREAT! I have to remind myself because everyday I pull that big tub of candy for my children to pick their desserts I start to take second glances...I can already hear the thoughts in my head..."Oh, that's such a little M&M bag...oh, the M&M minis won't hurt..." My weigh day is Sunday and I'm hoping there will be a loss there that will inspire me to say "NAH, WHO NEEDS YOU, M&M's!"

I will say that I do keep a stash of semi-sweet chocolate chips and on days that I just have to have a fix I will eat about 8 of them....it's about 4g carbs or less and it really does the trick for me. I've been very disciplined with them....

But this weekend we are having 2 open houses ourselves! We gave our realtor the boot....lowered the price and will try and sell it on our own in the next 30 days...no pressure...AAAGHHH lots of pressure..who am I kidding? I'll either survive this having lost 15 pounds from stress or resort to raiding that candy stash....hoping for the former!
