Anyone to confirm if Luna pool at BWV is going down for refurb next week?

On Allears.net, it indicates the pool is going to shut down on 1/10/16 but the Disney customer relations rep assured me she saw no mention of a closure. She was a generic rep, not one at the hotel itself, even though I thought I dialed the number for the BWV. If the pool DOES shut down, will we get to use the pool at the BC? I have two little boys who will be very upset(as well as this Grammy) if no pool with a slide is available.

The phone CMs are notoriously kept in the dark as far as Pool Closures and general work being done at the resorts. I remember being at the CR watching the Bay Lake Tower at 50% completion and calling to see when it would be completed and was told by 3 phone CMs that there were no projects scheduled for that area at all.

I have found multiple sites that I trust showing the Luna Park Pool closing from 1-11 until 2-2.

There is no way to talk to someone actually at the resort. Those numbers you can find on the internet for each resort ALL route to a Call Center off site. Depending on which number you dial, the phone CM will answer like they are at that resort. Sometimes they will even have Polynesian music playing in the background when you dial the Poly number or a piano playing in the background if you call the Grand Floridian number. Even when you hit the "Front Desk" button on the phone in your resort room it routes to the Call Center.

If the pool DOES shut down, will we get to use the pool at the BC? I have two little boys who will be very upset(as well as this Grammy) if no pool with a slide is available.

In the past if the entire pool is closed they will have golf carts running guests over to SAB.

We will be there starting on the 12th and just saw on some of the boards that Luna pool was listed as closed. I was disappointed but also surprised that we hadn't been notified (we have always gotten notifications on any type of reno. On the hotel if it occurred during our stay). Before I even called I saw on my DVC site that the slide at Stormalong Bay slide is closed on the dates I had read for Luna park as follows:
Pool Feature Refurbishment
The Stormalong Bay Flying Jib slide at Disney's Beach Villas will be closed for enhancements from January 11, 2016 to January 15, 2016. Stormalong Bay will remain open for your enjoyment during this refurbishment period and shuttle service will be available to Luna Park Pool at Disney's BoardWalk Resort for Members that would like a slide experience.
