I was curious if anyone was there during this time and how the crowds were? Did the convention impact the parks at all?

We were there the 9-11, and it was pretty busy but I wouldn't say it was worse than any other weekend days I have experienced. Monday was fabulous with near walk ons for everything!

Thanks for the information. I was wondering if the convention had any bearing on crowds.....planning for next year already!

I don't know if the show had any impact on the crowds BUT the crowds that weekend (2-8 - 2-10) were INSANE! I honestly have not seen the park that crowded except for holiday times and days off school...
I will not go that weekend again if I can help it... but again not sure what the cause for the extra people was..

It sounds as if the weekend was bad but it was okay on Monday. Tues and Wed information would be great........anyone?

I was working at CHA but my daughter went to the park every day. Fri, Sat, Sun were very crowded but still manageable.

I think the fact there was a school accounted for the crowds not CHA.

Sunday was the most crowded day I have ever experienced at DLR. Really, really bad crowds. Not fun. But I honestly don't believe it was the convention that made it that way. The crowds were caused by the holiday weekend paired with the fact that it was the first non-rainy weekend in a month and the following weekend was blocked out for local AP's.

Monday wasn't quite as bad, but still a bit more crowds than expected.

Tuesday was WONDERFUL, walk on most the rides. We got dreamed twice that day. :)

We were there from the 11th to 16th Tuesday through Thursday wasn't that bad anywhere from a 10-30 minute wait except the finding nemo ride was about 1 hour. Friday and Saturday were very busy, some sort of cheerleading event or gymnastics event a ton of teens wearing there sweat outfits.

We got on Nemo with a 20 minute wait on Tuesday around 7:00, so I'd say the crowds were not bad at all during the week!
