Anyone Take Provera- Female Question/Issue

I'm wondering if anyone else takes Provera? I'm supposed to take it monthly to be sure I get my period, as I have endometrial hyperplasia (a lining that is too thick). Anyhow, I thought last Wed. I was going to get it, but I only had very, very light spotting in the morning and then nothing. So, I have not had a normal period since around June 20th. Just wondering if anyone else has not had Provera work? This would be only my 3rd month taking it since I had a D&C for my lining being too thick...the first 2 months it worked just like it said it would.

I'm taking Provera now to prepare for an endometrial ablation. My doctor told me it would thin my lining out so much that I may not even have a period.

I have recently taken two cycles and it didn't work for me so it's definitely possible.
