We were there on 4/21 with my DD who had just turned 4. She loved it! We had a 9:30 appt and they took us right on time (it is the first appt - so how late coudl they be?) She totally got the 'fairy godmother' thing and still refers to HER fairy godmother when she looks at the pictures. We did the middle package and I have to agree that it was almost all about the hair. The nails just got one coat and didn't really stand out, but DD felt special having them done so I sould still spend the $10 on it the next time. I had her wear a brand new Aurora dress that we brought for the occasion. The makeover was a surprise to her, but she had spotted the dress the week before we left for our trip. We went for the photos after and they did a great job with her! All in all it was great! I couldn't justify the expense of the costume as I feel they outgrow them so fast and DD doesn't know the difference btw $19 at Target and $75+ at WDW! We knew we were going to get the Photopass CD for our trip, so I didn't worry about the photo package part either. They took a lot of great photos of DD (and I took a few myself!) Here's a couple of the best!

We were ther on May 1 and it was awesome. My daughers appointment was about 30 min. Up-do, nails painted and make-up! it was well worth the $45 spent. We are planning on doing it again!

Sara74- Your pictures are truly adorable! She is a true princess.

Quick Question for anyone who may have an answer...

I have an appointment for My DD who will be 5 on our trip. I only ordered the small package because she is a nail-biter and I don't want her nails painted. I am curious if we can still have the pictures taken if we didn't order the large package? Do we need to make a special appointment for that? What is the appoximate cost of the pics?

Naisy - thanks! DD said "Wow - that is totally cool" when she heard your compliment just now!

We did the photo shoot after our makeover and it doesn't cost anything. We did the hair and nails package and there are no photo prints included in that but they sent us over to have pictures taken anyway. The photopass photographer put them on our card and we ended up buying the photo CD. You could buy a CD right there, get prints right there, or we got our CD at the end of the week in Toontown.

So the answer is - no, you don't need an appointment and the photos could be whatever you want to spend. We knew we were going to get the CD anyway, so now I can get prints of them on Shutterfly and still own the digital copies of them too!

sara74 - Your daughter is adorable - she looks so sweet in those poses! princess: I can hardly wait for our trip in October - I'm going to surprise DD (who'll be 5 y.o. just before our trip) with a visit to the botique! ;)
