Has anyone done this with their daughter if so what package have you done and how old was your daughter?? thanks thinking of doing it for my twins who will be four what do you think????

I haven't done this as we have three boys but when we were there the 2nd week of May we saw a lot of little girls all done up and they all looked adorable. Most seemed to be around 4 to 6 years old.

If I had the money, I would go for it!!

But I don't. I'm seriously thinking about taking some fun stuff to give them a makeover in our room, on the day of our CRT ressie. pixiedust:

They love having their own makeovers at home when they get in the Libby Lou's mood. I have a stash of pretty make up colors and glitters. We have a trunk full of dress up hand me downs and a several tiaras given as birthday gifts and party favors.
It's one of those mother/daughter memories that we cherish.

Hi, we just came back from disney last week and my dd had a apt. i wasnt going to do it because when i first heard about it i thought it was too much money! but when we were there and saw it and all the little girls i knew it was something i had to do. it was a lot, and it took a chunk of my spending money but it was amazing! and i am so glad she did it, she was so beautiful (well she always is but you know!) it was the best day.

One thing though, you can choose the wedding dresses for cinderella and ariel (i didnt know that till she was almost done since they didnt name that on the phone when i made the apt.) and they were such nice dresses with real shoes, the other ones were sort of the jelly type. i would have loved her to get ariels wedding dress......maybe next time? LOL

if i knew how to insert pics, i would!

have fun

Megan

Can anyone tell me exactly what you get for the $35.00 package? I know it's make up and a hair style, but does the hair style include a tiara? Do you get anything to take home with you?
With the $45. hair/nail pkg. what kind of nail designs do they do?
Were there any older girls getting this done? My dd is 9 yrs. She's too big/tall for most of the dresses.

I am wondering the same thing... with the 3 girls it would have to be completely unforgettable because of the price :)

I had never heard of this before! Where is it and where can I find more info on it? My daughter is 5 and would love this! Thanks!

Here is their direct phone number if you would like to call to ask about it...407-939-7895. It is ages 3 and up. Our DD has a ressie 8/31 for the crown package, but shhh it's a surpise! We are going to let her pick out a dress if she wants one while we're in DTD. I would suggest calling to confirm, I say this because our reservation was actually at 2:30 but when I wrote it down I wrote 3:30 so not sure if I wrote wrong or a wrong number was typed in. (probably me in my excitement of getting the ressie made) Luckily I was able to change it to the 3:30 slot. We haven't been but from reading other posts about it the nails are either painted or they get false ones put on, if they choose painted they get to take to false ones with them. Also all hair do's come with hair acessories (sp). They also get to take home their makeup pallet and get a pink sash. I say go for it they're only young once and with the 3 package options there's something for everyone. We're sending DH and DS to the Pirate room and to lunch while she gets all dolled up. Good luck whatever you decide.

We went and loved it!

We did the medium package it was rainy and yucky the day we went so we skipped the dress up part! My 3 year old loved it shes already asked if we can go back and do it again! we did the medium package! i noticed quite a few girls coming in in there dresses from home and getting made up! Its alot of fun! They do there hair, makeup, nails! and you get to pick all the colors!

well worth the money and time! :) Imho!

This is soooooo cute!!! Has anyone done this without a reservation?? We will be arriving on 05/31 and this is our first trip.... we are so excited!!!!! Where exactly is it located??

Ok would my 8 year old almost 9 feel out of place? My 24 year old sister just got back and said this is a MUST DO. She wanted to do it but alas too old...... :rotfl2: And according to my sis, the Tinkerbell is to die for!
So I am thinking just the hair and nails - no dress for my 8 year old... will I regret that?

We just got back from WDW and we saw a lot of girls walking around DTD with their new looks. Quite a few girls had hair extensions (those braids and hair that are attached to a rubberband) along with their pixie dust and tiaras.

The girls ranged from little ones up to (I'd have to say) 10ish. I saw a few groups of older girls who had had the first or second package (hair, makeup, & nails).

I think the next time we go, we will forgo the face painting and go for the boutique!!

If a full package is in your future, think about getting the dress a little big. You can then use it for a couple of halloweens, WDW trips, dress ups, etc.

OK, I called and the dress sizes go up to 10-12's, the shoes only to a 3. My dd's 9 and while she could wear the larger dress, the shoes wouldn't fit her so we're going to do the hair/nail pkg. I was told if you still want photos you could inquire at the check in podium and they will give you a price. You can also get the dress elsewhere and bring it with you if you like. I called yesterday afternoon and they had appts. open on several days for my trip next week so they aren't booked up yet.

How long does it take for each girl to get "made up?'

DD's appointment on 5/6 was for 10am (I only arrived at appointment time, not the suggested 10-15 min early - just running behind that morning!). We were given a restaurant type pager and were summoned by the Fairy Godmother when it was DDs time, which was approximately 10:25. She was finished, out of chair and paid for by 11:04. (I checked the time on the pics I took to verify this!) DD had the middle package w/ nails.

My DD is 9 and really enjoyed it. We did not do the photos, just the makeover. IMHO, and I have read others say it too - the extra $10 for the nails is not worth it really. They put only one coat of a light colored polish on, and it was pretty much chipped by the end of the day. I would save the $10 and paint them myself if we do it again and she wants her nails done!

I think the Fairy Tale Princess style is the only one with the tiara. DD had the Pop Princess style - it had multi colored hair extensions (they had the choice of pink, blue or multi) - it was very funky - and very much my DD!

Check out this thread Post #1 has the brochure, Post #96 & 100 have DDs pics, and the things that we brought home - fake nails, makeup compact and sash. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1070501&page=2&pp=15&highlight=Bibbidi+Bobbidi+Boutique

I think you will find other's experiences as well in this lengthly thread!

They have a little jewel box too, as well as the crown that they have had for awhile now. I have some other pics in the WOD folder as well.

I just knew that taking pics of signs would be helpful. I just can't remember all the little details!
