We just returned from a 13 night stay and I have to say we found the concierge staff and services to be top notch, as usual.
The morning offerings have been sorely limited from years past. That said, however, there is still plenty to choose from. Each a.m. there were bagels, pineapple/coconut bread, cheese and cinnamon danish, mixed fruit, 3 types of cereal, and croissants. Readily available for the asking were bread, instant oatmeal, and yogurt. All of the normal juices, milk, coffee, tea, soda, water, etc. were also served.
Afternoon offerings were more extensive this year than in years past. Hummus and pita bread, popcorn with parmesan cheese, pretzels, goldfish, trail mix, tortilla chips and salsa, cookies, sodas, lemonade, iced tea, etc.
The evening service, as has always been the case, had a rotating menu with a variety of items--not changed over the year. The usual cheese/crackers and crudites were also served. We just love Dick's lo mein and chicken wings with his hot sauce! Caesar salad is served one night, fried rice and beef satay another, sushi on Mondays, etc.--I know there is a list of the offerings around, I just don't have mine handy. Suffice it to say--it was all good! Beer and wine were available and we had no trouble with availability.
Late evening desserts were much more varied this year although frequently not available after 9:00 p.m. due to the piggish nature of our fellow guests. The cordial selection, however, is much more limited--Bailey's, Kahlua, brandy, wine/beer.
The staff was most gracious, accommodating, and Hawaii was at 100% capacity for most of our stay. Still, this year was no where close to the chaos of last year--just must have been one of those years in 2004!

We had a thoroughly lovely visit and I'm sure you will too!
BTW
Traveliz, did we cross paths during your visit? I did run into a few fellow Disers, but I don't know if you were one of them?
