I was unfortunate to win this hotel via Priceline last April. They put us in one of the older rooms and I must say, it was the worst room I've ever seen. The room was filthy. There was a half eaten sandwich in the fridge, bedding was dirty, bathroom moldy. I did a bed bug check and caught one running around between the matress and box spring. I took it to the front desk (took a while - we were on the 5th floor and the nearest elevator was broken). The manager finally agreed to put us in one of the newer rooms for no additional charge (they had wanted $20 a night extra for a decent room).
The rooms in the newer building are nice. The elevator did not work properly and kept closing on people as they were walking in. It stopped short of our floor a few times.
The pool and spa were quite dirty and no towels were available most of the time. Frequent complaints eventually resulted in a small stack being brought out. Those only lasted a few seconds. We had to drip our way back to the room.
The new rooms are marginally 3 star, the older rooms worse than a 1 star. I'd give them zero stars if I could. They also charged a high resort fee. Priceline refunded this fee after my very vocal complaints. I'm hoping they downgrade the hotel to a 1 star since those are the rooms they put 3 star Priceline bid winners into.
There are so many nice hotels to choose from. I would never risk staying here again because of their disparity in room quality.
