Anyone stayed at the Carousel Inn?

We will be at DL from June 28-July 2 and staying at the Carousel Inn. Has anyone ever been there. How is the hotel? etc., We have been to the DLH and GCH. I'm sure it can't obviosuly compare.

My daughter and I stayed there a couple of years ago. It was fine--nothing all that fancy, but a step above most the the hotels across the street. It's certainly not the DLH or the GCH, but the rooms are spacious, well-appointed and clean. Breakfast is pretty basic, but it's free, and there's a nice theme-park view from the breakfast room.

There is no hot tub, though, which was a big disappointment to me!

The best part is the location. It's really close, and it's next door to a convenience store and a McDonald's, which were nice for picking up a few cheap items.

we stayed there last summer. It was clean and not fancy but we liked it. We got the 2 bedroom ... it has one room with 2 double beds,lots of closet space, full bath, and small frig, micorwave and coffee pot. The 2nd room was off the first bedroom and has a double bed, lots of closet space and another full bath..The breakfast got boring after awhile as it is the same everyday and they don't have cereal just seet rolls, apples, bananas etc.. So we got our own cheerios at the store.. it is very convenient and one night we watched the Dl fireworks from the breakfast room.. cool..
