Any good reports on this resort site ? which is in Davenport near Kissimmee

Hi there 50bear. Yes, I can vouch for Bahama Bay and it is a beautiful resort - great facilities, generally very quiet and peaceful, definitely slightly off the beaten track but easy to get to Disney, if quite a way from Universal and I-Drive. The main pool is lovely, and, if you have a lake view, it is quite gorgeous first thing in the morning. We didn't eat at the main restaurant but it certainly looked nice enough, and the spa there is amazing - WAY more than you expect at most resorts, if you like a bit of massage and other pampering (very handy after a day at the parks!). There is a Publix supermarket not too far away on Highway 192 (near the junction with US 27, which Bahama Bay is off) and I think it is some of the best-value resort property in the area right now.

Can't say I agree with it being off the beaten track - its only 1.6 miles from the 192 /27 junction down Florence Villa Grove Road.It is near to the Publix at Berry Town Centre- just turn either at the lights at Sand mine Road or just before them.It is also only a couple of miles away from the new Wal Mart a Bank and a great Indan Restaurant.

We stayed there in August last year . It's a lovely place and I can thoroughly recommend it.
If you PM me with your Email address I can send you photo's and a map which I have just done for another chap (who is there right now as we speak - lucky dog!)
You will have a great holiday there and it's very convenient for Disney (particularly if you use the Sherberth Road short cut).
Lots of restaurants along the 192 which is close by.
The resort itself is really well laid out and the facilities are wonderful.
