Too late to be asking, but can anyone share their experience in a Catelgory 11 inside cabin. Going on the 6/1 and needed 2 cabins so booked what I could afford. Have been afraid to ask til now, not that I can change but I thought I better be prepared and prepare DH. Really just very happy to be going, 1st time cruiser.:bounce:

We just got back from the 3 day Wonder in Cat 11. We booked in a GTY status and when we got our assignment it was a handicap room on deck 6 all the way aft. I thought the room was great! We were first time cruisers as well and the first night the seas were really rocky. Everybody was sick. I only felt better when I was laying down and not looking out the window. It made me glad that I didn't have a window to look out of. I didn't miss the window at all! We were hardly in our room anyway. Anything you want to know specifically?

Thanks for your reply.
Specifically, how is storage space. Will have DH, DDs, 10 and 2 in one cabin, in the other myself DS-11 and DD-8, never been on a cruise ship, are there drawers or just closet?
Also, do you think these rooms are much noiser than most? As I said before am really just happy to be going.:D

We took a category 11 for my DD's right across the hall from a category 6 with verandah on deck 6. I found the category 11 to be quite roomy, not much different than the 6 except that the bathroom is all in one, vs a shower, toilet split into two in the cat 6. I would take a cat 11 in a heartbeat, especially if it was on my favorite deck 6, lol!!

In the room we were in, there was a closet, a "steamer trunk" that closed with shelves (3, I think), a row of drawers by the closet and a row of drawers in the dressing table. We were on a 3 day cruise and I wasn't about to spend all day unpacking and another day packing. I hung some stuff, put my makeup, curling iron and toiletries in one of the dressing table drawers and was done. My sister and I left our suitcases open on top of the dressing table. It was fine!

my family of 4 was in a category 11 last September on the Magic. We thought it was just fine for the amount of time we were in the room. We did bring an over the door shoe holder to keep us organized and it worked great. We managed to snag one of the secret porthole rooms for our 8/31 cruise so I am really looking forward to the free view.

For my family it worked out fine - we were only in the room to change and sleep.

We were in a cat. 11 on deck 6on the 3/23 which was great!!!!!! We were never in the room-only to sleep and change clothes. I think that you'll be very happy. No problems with noise or seasickness. Have fun!!!!

We were in a cat 11 on deck 5 and loved it! We had 2 adults, a 3.5 yo and a 8 mo. We had a double carriage in the room, and a crib, not to mention all our luggage. Never had a problem with space.
On our upcoming cruise we have a secret porthole, cat 10 but if we couldnt get that I would have gone back to a 11.

You'll love it! Because Disney has larger rooms than other cruise lines, you'll have plenty of space. We had a Cat. 11 on deck 6 in January...myself, dh dd(10) and ds(2). DD loved sleeping in the bunk each night. DS still is in a crib at home, so I wondered how he would do on the couch at night.......it was no problem at all. Each night, he was so tired that we tucked him in tightly with the covers and he hardly moved. Well, one night, I did wake up to a thud......the fall was not far and it never woke him up! I just picked him up and tucked him in again. The inside room was great for his naps in the afternoon.....he'd sleep in our bed while dh or I would read or watch tv in the "living area" with the curtain closed. Two suggestions.....take a small nightlight for the bathroom and the shoe organizer for all your toiletries (that in itself made the trip enjoyable!)

Thanks to everyone. Your info. has been very helpful and I must say I am quite relieved. I am starting to get a bit anxious, scared I might be unprepared for cruise time. Got nightlights today and an overdoor organizer. Can't wait. Thanks again.
