Has anyone stayed in 8062 (category 4)? Is it a good location? Convenient? Noisy? Quiet?

We are a family of five and just want to know if we've reserved a nice cabin for our Magical week.

Thanks for any info!!

Hi!

We didn't stay in your exact room, but when I saw you didn't have any replies I thought I'd give you what info I could. We have stayed in 8068, very close by, and we were very happy with it. There was never a noise problem in the room, though on deck 8 out on the verandah you can occasionally have deck 9 noise filter down. But that's never a big deal. You are right between two elevator bays, so you'll have a tiny walk either way you go. But being in the center of the ship can make your ride a little more stable, if you have a concern over any queesiness. We have since stayed in 8076 which is a little further back and close to the aft elevators. We did find this location particularly convenient for our family as we like to send our son up to topsiders to bring us down a little "first breakfast". LOL. So he just had to walk up one little flight of stairs and there he was! We also are a family of five (DH, DW, DD-16, DS-13, DS-7)and VERY heavy packers. But we found there to be ample room for all luggage and people. So all in all I think your room is going to be perfect for you. We love deck 8 in general, and any room aboard a Disney ship is better than any room on dry land!

Have a great time!:wave2:

We stayed in 8552 and absolutely loved it! We are a family of four, but this was our first cruise and I wasn't sure if I could convince one of my DS's to sleep in the pull down bed, so I wanted the Murphy bed just in case. We never needed the bed, but having the extra room was so nice, and we loved the verandah! Now I am spoiled and will always want a Category 4!
The overall location in Deck 8 is great as well, we loved being so close to the pools. We also found the mid-ship stairways to be much more convenience than the elevators (and we were eating so much that I figured we could use the exercise.) We enjoyed the 3-day cruise so much that we're planning a 7-day (I hope) or minimum 4-day cruise for 2005.
