I am a Fairfield owner and was checking out the floor plans on the Fairfield site for Bonnet Creek because we might stay there next fall. Anyways, they show the 1, 2, and 4 bdr deluxe rooms as having big kitchens and big balconies, but the plan for the 3 bdr shows a tiny little galley kitchen and no balcony! It does specify at the bottom "plans subject to change" so I don't know if this is an accurate rendering or not.
Has anyone seen a 3 bdr with their own eyes? I'd appreciate any info! Also, any dining options within walking distance?

unless BC has it own dinning you can't walk to anything.

It has CBR and POP on one side - the 535 on one side, Osceola Parkway on one side and Buena Vista Drive in front.

there is a barrier and I think some water to kept you from going over to the Disney resorts.

Britte, I see what you mean on the Fairfield website - how bizarre! However, on the Yahoo! Group for this resort, there are floorplans that were made available to the group by a FF employee some time ago. The other room size floorplans are the same as posted now on the FF website. The 3BR floorplan posted on this group is different.

This 3BR deluxe looks very much like the 2BR deluxe that you see. The 3BR's dining table seats 8 (not 6) and where the 2BR has the 2nd bathroom located, instead the 3BR has a small hallway leading to a 2nd bathroom and the 3rd bedroom. The MBR, kitchen, balcony, and laundry are all basically the same in the 3BR floorplan as in the 2BR you can see. In this 3BR, the MBR has a king bed, the 2nd BR has a king bed and the 3rd BR has two doubles. Adding the sleeper sofa in the LR, it would sleep 10 people. Both of the bathrooms are divided into 2 rooms each. The master bath has an oversized jacuzzi & sink in one part; an oversized shower, sink and commode are in the other. The 2nd bath has double sinks in the first part; a commode and a combo tub-shower are in the other.

Since I haven't seen the 3BR in person, I can't verify which plan is correct. However, I will say that I have never seen anything like that strange 3BR floorplan (w/galley kitchen, tiny bathrooms and a dining table that only seats 4???) in any newer Fairfield-built property!!! They have just completed the new Owner Directory, due to be mailed out in early May. It is supposed to have much more detailed room info than the old one or even the website. Maybe it will say? :confused3

As for dining options, it's a 2-3 minutes drive down the street to the Epcot Resort area (left at the exit light) or to the DownTown Disney area (right at the exit light). Add another 3-5 minutes drive to Lake Buena Vista by I-4. Between these locations, there are dozens and dozens of good restaurants. Onsite at the resort, they only have a poolside bar/grille right now, which serves hot & cold prepared food (3 meals & snacks). I'm not sure if the Phase 4 Health Club & Clubhouse will have anything more or the schedule for Phase 4 to be built.

Generally contruction has moved faster than expected at the resort. A playground, volleyball court and mini-golf have all reportedly been added. The Village Center and Tower 1 have had open condos for some time. Here are some reported opening dates now:

Tower 2 - 135 Units - 5/12/2006
Tower 3 - 122 Units - 10/6/2006

They've started work on the 2nd pool area which will be located between Towers 2 & 3. The Fitness/Clubhouse will be next, adjacent to the Village Center, with Towers 4 & 5 (120-200 units each) going up next to that. They've broken ground on Towers 4 & 5 already (with a 3rd pool area planned between 5 & the lake). Given that they expect Tower 5 to be open by the end of 2007, the Fitness/Clubhouse building may be open sooner. I don't know when your trip is planned or whether they'll have additional dining options by then. HTH. Have a fun visit! :)

I suggest contacting the resort directly. This way you should be able to get a straight answer.

Lisa, Thank you so much for your response! I will check out the Yahoo group, too. You also answered a question I had about when the new Fairfield book would be coming out. I look forward to getting it.
The floor plan you described sounds more like I would expect a 3 bdr. to look. Don't know why they'd go all out on the 1 and 2 bdr. but skimp on the 3 bdr.!

Kilee- You are right, before I actually make my reservation, I will call the resort and find out for certain!
Thanks again! This board is a dream come true for getting answers to questions!! :cheer2:
