We just returned on Saturday afternoon from BC. We had a great stay. Tower 4 has just been completed, but the landscaping, sidewalks, etc. are not fully finished. We were in Tower 2. There is a minature golf course (free) right out back, a playground between 1 and 2, and a pool between 2 &3. Tower 4 is near the main building, so you would use the pool there. Tower 2was a good location for us, though we had no kids with us. Each building has units that face the lake and the other side faces the parking lot. You can request which you want. I didn't realize this and we were on the parking lot side, but the balcony was nice. The weather was in the high 70's the whole week. A light jacket might be needed late at night, as it gets down to about mid 50's. Of course, you are used to colder weather than that.
The rooms are pretty well stocked. They leave dishwasher detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, and shampoo, soap, and lotion. At the mid-week tidy, we got additional shampoo. I cooked several nights. The cookware is adequate, but not overly abundant. There is a big eat-at bar and a dining table. I think the units are beautiful and very roomy.
Other info: Resort has a pizza place and a small cafe where you can get burgers and fries. We didn't use either, but it would be convenient. Also, there are shuttles to the resorts. They are free, and run on a schedule. You do have to walk a bit further than the Disney buses, nearer where the charters park, but it saves you $11 a day if you don't want to drive. We did some of both. If you use the shuttle, just plan your day. They go every 30 minutes and come back at 12, 3, 5, etc. You will get a schedule at check-in.
If you have other questions, just write and I will try to answer them. I have found over the years that getting advice from other travelers is the best way to learn. BYW, ask the conceige for directions if you want to go to the grocery store, etc. they have them all printed out.
