Anyone stay at Sandy Ridge?

I have some friends going down next week and I'd like to find out what kind of stores are near that development (Wal-mart, places to eat etc.). Thanks so much!!

We stayed there this past Easter. It's probably about 10 minutes away from the WDW parks. If you take a Left on the main rd. outside the subdivision it brings you to CVS or Walgreens(Not sure) about 1/2 mile away. Continue on the raod and it brings you to the Champions Gate resort, there is a Mcdonalds and a grocery store and a few more small resturaunts about 1-2 miles down. If you take a right outside the subdivison and then a Left on the next road, it brings you to 192 and the Super Walmart is about 1/2 to 1 mile west of the intersection. The best bet is to take a left out of the subdivision and a right on Old Lake Wilson rd.(CVS/ Walgreens) and this will bring you to 192 were ther are numerous restuarants and shopping for your pleasure. There is a beautiful golf course on Old Lake Wilson rd. that I really need to try when my kids grow up.
